One woman won her battle with cancer nine years ago and this morning is running her first marathon. This is kind of my way up being like, im a survivor, i had cancer but i can make something so positive of it and be helpful to other people. I have to do this. I have to inform people what its like to be a survivor. And these women are running from Union Square West through Golden Gate Park. Youll find various street closures this morning but its all for a good cause. You can see many of them leaving the square. A lot of costumes and a lot of purple this morning.
