right, which is why they are very concerned, the people i have talked to here, they say please capture this guy as soon as possible because so far the good news is no one has been killed and no major injuries, but you can see the damage overnight. now, this -- they don't believe this is a coincidence but they will not go so far as to say arson and the reason why, marty, this is the second fire to this building in one week. the first fire that happened a few days ago here, yes, they are saying that was an arson. this one, until the investigators can go through and find out for sure, they are calling it suspicious but you can see the damage. this happened at around 4:50 in the morning. did not take the fire department a lot of time to put this out but it caused a lot of damage and some of the damage from this morning just intermingled with the damage that took place a couple of days ago which is why you could see the yellow tape here. it is off limits and the church relies on this this, in just the past week alone, 12 fires in a 2-mile radius of east san antonio, which is why they are on high alert, they are out here putting out the fire. but they are also, i got to tell you, they are also looking out to the public to see if they see the same people show up each time. they want to make sure to capture this person but for now, they are not calling in the federal authorities. it looks like the san jose fire department, the police department, they are handling the investigation at this point and should they need additional resources, the federal department's expertise, they will call them in but you can see just the damage that's ranging into the thousands of dollars, not to mention at this point they don't even know yet the cause of the warehouse fire this is not an example of corruption or paola, this is about how someone fundamentally believes their role in government is supposed to be. if their role in government is to use the levers of government to be abusive, to abuse power, to punish enemies, this is the exact wrong kind of message that christie wants to send not just to everyone, but particularly to the republican primary base, overnight that could be related to a string of fires set by a serial arsonist. will tran live at the scene at one of those fires in san jose with an update. will, good morning. >> reporter: this is the second time this building has caught on fire in just one week. they say, yes, it's probably not as coincidence -- not a coincidence, they have confirmed that the fire here earlier in the week was arson, definitely not a problem, but as far as this fire here that happened at 4:50, they want to talk to investigators to conclusively say it was started by arsonists which is why at this point they are only going to go with the word suspicious. whether you call it suspicious arson to the people right next to the church here -- i mean, excuse me, this building is located right next to a church. they are heart broken because their building here is destroyed. this is where they spend their time studying, they have meals here, they talk to each other about plans but that's not going to happen because as you can see, this is off limits and the front part, let me zoom out, this was damaged from the first fire. the second fire that happened overnight, it damaged the backside, nonetheless, it is just off limits. you can see the yellow tape that surrounds this building here. let me blow you away with numbers. this is fire number 12, 12 fires in the past week in a 2- mile radius of east simone street which is -- san antonio street which is why they believe this fire here, more than likely when it's all said and done will be arson. fortunately they say time has been good, so far it's been good for them as far as the fires, meaning no fatalities and no injuries but they say time could be running out which is why they are offering a $10,000 reward for information to the arrest and conviction of this person. so let me put on the screen here, a composite sketch released by the police department as well as the fire department. look how detailed this composite sketch is. even the fire investigator, the captain i spoke to this morning, he was blown away, pleasantly surprised when he first saw the composite sketch, how detailed it is and that's why they believe somebody out there knows this person. they know it's only one person doing this because it has the same m.o. they don't see any gasoline cans or anything like that. they believe the fires, the one thing they have in common, the arson fires, all started with either a newspaper or some sort of rag and the time and the location of all of these fires, that's why they believe more than likely they are all connected including possibly the warehouse fire that took place on thursday. they are not sure yet, but obviously investigators are looking at that because that was near east san antonio street as well. i can tell you the fire department and the police department, they are the only ones handling it at this point. obviously, the federal -- the department, the fbi, they are on standby ready to go. they are experts at this. but according to the fire departments, they say for now they believe in the talent and the experience of the people at the police department as well as the fire department to handle it, should they need help, they will call the fbi mo back to you, marty. >> that is will tran reporting live from san jose. turn our attention now to the weather forecast and here with that is johnu
