She may face charges of abandonment and drugs. Police say Child Protective Services has taken custody of the 2 boys as well as 2 girls. A 13 year old dauaghter was found later. She had been out with relatives when police took her 3 siblings to the hospital. Authorities say what is particularly alarming is that this may not have been the first time these children were left alone, especially since they seemed unphazed by their situation. They are good, which is good and bad. It gives impression that this is the not the first time they have gone without food. Police are declining to rele ase the name of the woman in an effort to protect the children. They plan to call in specialists to interview the kids in hopes of finding out more about what has been going on in the past.
