Reporter Kelly Hessedal has more. justine a Domestic Violence suspect is in Critical Condition tonight. After being shot by a Police Officer near sonoma state university. The shooting happened early yesterday morning on east cotati avenue in rohnert park. An officer spotted the 22 yearold man walking out of a creek bed as he was following up on a Domestic Violence call. And when the officer approached the suspect. Police say he got aggressive and attempted to run away. The officer used a stun gun on the man. And then shot him twice. The suspects name is not being released. The officer who shot the man has been put on paid leave. jr stone in milpitas. Police say a neighbors quick thinking led to the arrest of seven people including four minorson suspicion of attempted burglary. The incident happened tuesday afternoon , when a resident on Whitcomb Court noticed two men coming out of the side of the yard. The guys then drove off in a black suv driven by a female. A witness tipped of police who spotted the suv and pulled the suspects over on east calaveras boulevard. They arrested 22yearold jeremiah mcleod, 19yearold theresa prada, and 22year old dwane ricks. Along with four minors. The seven were booked for attempted burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary. justine police in san bruno arrested four people in an antihumantrafficking operation. Police served a search and arrest warrant at a home on herman street yesterday afternoon. After a month long Investigation Detectives were able to obtain information and evidence to link these four suspects to acts of prostitution and pimping. They all went to jail. This case is still under investigation. jrstone bart riders traveling on the fremont line found themselves riding a bus bridge between the fruitvale and lake merrit stations today. Bart is doing major track repairs between the stations over the weekend. The bus bridge delayed passengers twenty to thirty minutes. But they also tell me they have noticed theyre getting more alerts about crimes on campus. And the latest of them happened at this hall. And students say that one is scary. Police are looking for the man that they say tried to break into this dorm this morning. Around 10, a Student Living at roble hall discovered a man trying to pry his screen open. The suspect fled. Wyatt pontius stanford student i heard that a man approximately 40 years old attempted to break in by taking a screen off of the window but they ran away as soon as the student saw them in the window. This is the first incident of crime at this hall all year long and like i said the university si very good about keeping us informed so i still feel very safe. This is one of several incidents in the last month. Earlier this week, Police Arrested this Jun Nicado Pegarido on prowling charges. Police are also looking into whether hes responsible for two indecent exposure incidents last nmonth. Jack dewey student its concerning you see the police out a little bit more on the street. The melting snow has led to flooding in some parts of the park. As cory james reports, visitors are told to stay away from high water.
