two young men were shot to death in san francisco's twin peaks neighborhood yesterday. good evening, i'm pam moore. one of the victim's grieving their devastating loss. but first we talk to our own justine waldman. she joins us live from san francisco with the lastest. justine. police >> reporter: have taken a man wanted in connection with the double homicide here on twin peaks. sources tell us story. >> grant: julio peraza is in mourning at their santa rosa home. his friend rene mora was also killed. a third friend was wounded during the shooting. the peraza family is devastated, none more so than julio's big brother rafael. the two of them were really close. 21-year-old julio peraza of santa rosa was gunned down sunday while enjoying the view "it's hard to not have him around you know, year-old beck was reported missing from alameda and the same day this instagram photo was allegedly taken at nearby lands end. laura believes the man in this picture is her father and that this latest tip confirms he was in san francisco. sot i'm pretty sure it was him. the time line sounded about right, based on the instagram photo. was taken. it was heading in the right direction. through out the day monday, laura and her friends were handing out fliers and looking for any clue as to what may have happened to her father. sot we are hoping that no matter why he came out here that he is mentally sound and ok. we've also learned that for the past few years, john beck was facing serious financial troubles. in 2012, the federal trade commission successfully accused beck of defrauding thousands of people by selling them a video on how to flip real estate. as a result, he was ordered to pay the federal government $113 million dollars. sot he's loved. despite his problems, laura says it's not left looking for a place to live. after losing their home in a house fire this morning. kron 4's j.r. stone spent the day in the south bay. he has more from san jose. >> j.r.:an alaadin book, a school assignment, and crayons are all that's left after fire tore through this home monday morning. leaving a family and their three kidshomeless. sot we were inside with the kids sitting down getting ready for breakfast. that's when things quickly took a turn for the worsezerai asgodom says he then saw smoke coming from the back bedroom sot soon as i went to the door the fire gushed out so it was blazing so the only thingwe have to run out of the house. zerai had lived in this home for more than 15 years. his three kids, his wife, and his father in law lived here as well. before running out they grabbed the cell phone, their cats, and his son's laptop. leaving him and his family with little to nothing. sot my wallets are burned and all my id's are burned so. as bad as this fire was.he's thankful that his family is okay. sot so we thanks to god that at least our family are safe. j.r. stone the cause of this fire is under investigation. it started in that back bedroom and may have i confessed, i plead guilty. ive said from the onset some notorious california killers are locked up here. the night stalker - richard ramirez - a serial killer, rapist and burglar he died of cancer in 2013. wesley shermantine - one of the speed freak killers richard allen davis - who kidnapped and killed 12 year old polly klaas. *he is the reason for california's 3 strikes law. and scott peterson probably the most recognized death row inmate. in 2002, he brutally murdered and dismembered his wife laci, and their unborn son conner. he dumped their remains in san francisco bay. it's a story that gripped the nation. he was convicted and sentenced to die by lethal injection. more than a decade later, scott petersen is just another inmate.he's the one in the center of your screen, hiding behind a hat and shadesas our cameras were rolling. nats sitting in his tiny cell douglas clark, aka the sunset strip killer is writing his penpals. he and his girlfriend were convicted of a series of gruesome murders targeting prostitutes in los angeles, back in the early 80's. he says he didn't do it. natsot -
