When the officers carried out a welfare check requested by a anonymous caller on saturday. During the initial stages the investigators note wad appeared to be Blunt Force Trauma injuries. Follow up indicated the victim appeared to have been sexually assaulted. And it is unclear how long she was dead before her body was discovered. Neighbors said that the mother and her boyfriend were seen leaving with luggage on foot about three hours before she was found. A day later the couple was spotted. Richmond Police Department had a report from a citizen who saw them on at a restaurant in the area. It is my leave they fled that restaurant after people were looking at them and bart officers contacted them at the bart station. Police say that the two have arrest records and a history of drug abuse. Officers have been called to the apartment before for possible domestic abuse. The last time being as recent as last week. But she never pressed charges against warner who is not on the lease. She had a little sass to her. She was happy and smart and smiling. Just cute little girl. Can you believe this has happened . I cant. It is heartbreaking. The two are charged with homicide, special circumstances murder and assault resulting in a childs death. They will remain here at the jail through their arraignment. An autopsy is scheduled for monday. For her father, he is currently locked up in san quentin but he has been made aware that his daughter has been murdered. Reporter were seeing through the eyes of the people looking into the investigation of the death of Lynn Spaulding a report shows that an investigation by Medicare Services reveals that a doctor instructed the staff at San Francisco general never to leave the 57 year old unattended. She was admitted on september 19th for a bladder infection. She was found dead at the hospital 17 days after she had left her room. The report goes on to say that nurses were instructed to check on her every 15 minutes and it talks about the sheriffs involvement in the search. Stating that four deputies were tasked with searching the hospitals 10 stair wells and that one of those deputies searched the grounds but not the stair well. The other deputies checked only four stair wells leaving six unchecked. Now in response to the report, the family spokesperson had this to say. Quote, this report confirm was we have been seeing since september 21st when Lynn Spaulding disappeared. And the Sheriffs Department never took seriously the safety and welfare of spauldingment they did not take seriously the pleas or look for the 17 days she lay dying, abandoned on the stair well. They ignored our calls and pointed fingers at each other and scuffled chairs and tried to blame the victim. End of quote. We checked with sf general they have not released a response to the report.
