Another big story were following a local story. A woman be headed by man the front of our home in san carlos. In the middle of the day, a man has been arrested and the San Mateo CountySheriffs Office is now looking into a motive. Kron fours dan thorn has that update. San mateo county deputies swarming magnolia avenue and laurel street in san carlos on thursday morning. It was where a woman was beheaded by a man armed with a sword neighbors stunned by this heinous crime. Im unbelievable. Weve got a lot to pray about is crazy. Several witnesses told investigators they saw the 25 yearold woman being attacked in the street before she was brutally killed in front of her home. Deputies would not elaborate on the relationship between the victim and her killer. There was an ongoing relationship between the 2. And we believe this is an isolated incident. There is no ongoing threat to the community. Deputies found and arrested the man shortly after the violent attack. They say he was apparently suffering from some sort of medical emergency. Details on that were not released. As of this report the weapon used in the crime has not been found. Neighbors say theyre sad that this mother of 2 was killed in such a disturbing way. And the east bay, the Security Guard that was shot outside of a hospital wpdnesday has died from his injuries that shooting happened on the campus of Kaiser Permanente is ali and bill police say the sixtyyearold armored car guard was shot while carrying in undisclosed amount of money. He was taken to the hospital in Critical Condition where he died. His name has not been released, but he and the working with garner world for nearly 40 years. The killer is still on the loose. At least one person is in Critical Condition this morning after a shooting in oakland. Police say one police say the shooting happened around 6 last night on 27th street just east of broadway. The victim is listed in stable condition. Officers were then notified of a second victim who was taken to a hospital. That person is in Critical Condition. And happening today, the Alameda County sheriffs deputy that is accused of killing 2 people. Hes scheduled to make his First Court Appearance and this morning we have new details about the victims. Police identified the victims 57 yearold vincent ran and 42 year old. Maria tran benson work for the city of dublin for 29 years as a civil engineer, maria tram was in nurse at jean georges Psychiatric Hospital in alameda. Investigators say Devon Williams junior had just finished working at the nearby county jail. Any when into the couples home and shop and wednesday morning, hours later, the deputy turned himself in. And the north bay police are looking for a killer after a male was found stabbed to death in valais hill. According to the mayors office, mayor liccardo says the utility has to come up with a better plan to replace a repair its failing infrastructure or face some legal action. The chief says there have been 5 homicides in the last year. He also says that attempted homicide and assault with a gun are up about 63 . 70 of guns seized by police either ghost are not registered to the attacker. And a majority of the crimes are committed by people who do not live in the city. The chief says the department is taking steps to try and combat the rise in these violent crimes.
