and daly city police want anyone with information to call them. san francisco mayor ed lee says he plans to veto controversial bike legislation. it's an ordinance introduced at a board of supervisors meeting last week. it would make it possible for bikes to roll through a stop sign in some cases. idaho has a similar law making it legal if there's no other traffic. mayor lee says it's not worth the confusion or risk to anyone's safety. the legislation is backed by six supervisors. eight votes could overturn a veto. supporters say a rolling stop would slow cyclists down. and argue that they could still be ticketed for speeding through an intersection. new at eleven. officials are investigating an inmate death at the santa clara county main jail. a man was found unresponsive in his cell around 10-30 this morning. the inmate could not be resuscitated. and was pronounced dead at the scene. his identity has not yet been released. coming up. a brutal murder in the east bay. who police have arrested in connection with a double homicide. also -
