several different perspectives. >> these are just some of the amazing pictures sent in by kron four viewers across the northern part of the bay area and show how much smoke was produced by tuesday's fire north of napa. take a look at this. you can see from this video shot from our aerial partners at abc 7 the thick smoke from the fire was intense and was rising from the ever growing fire. the smoke was noticable for miles around and most people in the northern part of the bay area could see the evidence of the destructive fire that consumed several buildings in the area and force people to evacuate their homes in the area. here is a shot from our camera that sits atop mount tamalpius. this video has been sped up 5000% to give you some perspective. look, you can see the smoke was going straight up into the air and then hit some sort of air current somewhere around 1000 feetthat current leveled out the plume at the top and made it disapate in different directions. this shot from highway 37 shows just how far away the smoke could be seen. the fire is about 100 miles away from the camera location and you can easily see just how much smoke was produced by the north bay fire. another anglethis time from rhonert park. the thick plume of smoke traveled several hundred feet into the sky. people were reporting the smoke as far away as novato and walnut creek. now, there is a bit of good news for the bay area as a whole. i talked to the folks at the bay area air quality management district and they say that most of the smoke and the particulates from that fire are going to be contained to the area around that fire and to the north because the winds here int eh bay area are coming from the south and should not affect most counties here. i'm jeff bush in sonoma county, patrol expected to see >> he came across a car and noticed a head >> according to investigators it was around 11:40 monday night when a deputy patrolling area around the graton resort and casino came across two young children alone inside a car on the third level of this parking garage investigators say when the deputy approached the car the doors were locked and the windows rolled up he says the key was in the ignition, in the on position, and the radio turned on. the 10-year girl was in the front seat her baby brother in back. she opened the door for the deputy and that's when she alleged told him that her mother had left her in charge while she went in to the casino! that's where police say the graton staff made contact with 37-year-old maria barbosa of san jose and arrested her now deputies say they feel fortunate they were able to find these young children before anything bad happened >> anytime you leave a child un-attended it's dangers but leaving a child in a commercial
