They say 38 yearold Tifiano Ariel Rodas Maldonado posted ads along laundromats in the canal street area where many mexicans and guatemalans frequent. One victim came forward saying maldonado asked for 2thousand dollars a month and sex. He was basically taking advantage of the difficult housing situation in the area couple with the ongoing fear of the immigrant community to prey on people. Detectives made a call to the ad and say maldonado answered using a fake name Roberto Mendez then met up with the undercover caller. Maldonado was arrested for felony fraud and prostitution charges.
