"coming from a small town in ohio, i had never really experienced celebrating or partying that involved alcohol." >> justine:but the prosecution found evidence to the contrary on his own cell phone. with texts and pictures showing him smoking from a bong and drinking liquor. >> justine:even going back to high school where he wanted to buy drugs. and while at stanford messages about smoking buying and selling weed. >> justine:and wanted to do acid writing "i;ve got a hankering for a good acid trip." and turner was even chased and arrested on campus. for having beer and a fake id. >> justine:the lies about drugs and drinking all shown by the prosecution to shatter the swimmers stellar image. and get him the longest sentence possible behind bars. >> justine:the victim did write, that when she spoke with the probation department. she did not want turner to "rot in prison." but the six months sentence. does not reflect her feelings on the outcome of this case. and now turner is getting 3 months. >> justine:she made it very clear the impact this crime has had on her life and her family. >> steve:very disturbing. >> steve:the santa clara county judge is continuing to feel the fallout following the sentence of the ex stanford swimmer. a million people have signed a petition for his removal. >> steve:now we have learned the backlash agains the judge is affecting at least one other criminal case. kron4's maureen kelly potential jurors say they couldn't be impartial in judge aaron persky's court room. >> reporter:here you can see video of judge aaron persky entering the palo alto courthouse thru a side door to avoid being photographed. >> reporter:the intense scrutinty swirling around his decision to sent ex stanford swimmer brock turner to jail for 6 months for the sexual obviously had some sort of impact. >> reporter:ralph robles jr is the defendant in the misdemeanor criminal case currently in front of judge persky. he says during yesterday's jury selection many potential jurors brought up the controversial case. they defianately brought it up, how it affected them how it affected their lives how it could affect their judgement. >> reporter:in the end he says approximently 20 jurors were excused because they didn't feel they could be unbiased in judge persky's courtroom. >>we still got a jury, they have a top notch staff, everything is just humming along normally >> reporter:i sat inside persky's my eyes the judge appeared calm and attentive and not distracted by the fact that close to a million people have signed an online removal from the bench. >> reporter:but the judge is not without supporters.this hayward resident showed up today to give persky a letter.asking him not to buckle to the fight.not to resign because then you endangering the time he was sentenced to by the court. >> reporter:nothing in recent memory has touched a nerve here at stanford in recent years quite like the brock turner case. nearly everyone i spoke with today feel that he got off too easy. >> reporter:brock turner was sentenced to roughly six months in the county jail but will almost certainly be released after serving just three months, says legal analyst steven clark. >> reporter:most students are not buying turner's efforts to blame alcohol and peer pressure for his actions. a few say the publicity now unfolding is also a kind of punishment. one said tonight. >> reporter:on wednesday, a san jose police department internet crimes against children and child exploit task force arrested 34 year old marc alquiza. he is a san jose resident. alquiza is also the wrestling coach here at independence high school. he's also the coach of the summer wrestling club. alquiza is facing two felony counts of lewd acts with a minor. the acts apparently occured this past may. the victim in this case is a girl and at the time.. back in may.. she was apparently 14 years old. alquiza was booked into the santa clara county main jail. as of thursday evening, we don't have many more details on this case. we also don't know if the police department knows of any with information on this case is asked to contact san jose police. in the south bay, charles clifford kron 4news. >> steve:new at ten.dash cam video of a high speed chase in pleasanton ending with a police say the suspect was driving a stolen car when he crashed into another car another car just after 3-30 this afternoon. >> steve:police say the stolen car was involved in chases with hayward police and alameda county sheriff's deputies. police arrested 35 year old christopher mero for assault with a deadly weapon and outstanding warrants. no one was injured in the crash. >> steve:a woman who police say stole an ambulance from the san francisco fire department. pleaded not guilt in court today. we just got her mug shot. 37-year-old veronica barahona has been charged with unlawfully taking of a special vehicle. >> steve:prosecutors asked for her bail to be set at "coming from a small town in ohio, i had never really experienced celebrating or partying that involved alcohol." >> justine:but the prosecution found evidence to the contrary on his own cell phone. with texts and pictures showing him smoking from a bong and drinking liquor. >> justine:even going back to high school where he wanted to buy drugs. and while at stanford messages about smoking buying and selling weed. >> justine:and wanted to do acid writing "i;ve got a hankering for a good acid trip." and turner was even chased and arrested on campus. for having beer and a fake id. >> justine:the lies about drugs and drinking all shown by the prosecution to shatter the swimmers stellar image. and get him the longest sentence possible behind bars. >> justine:the victim did write, that when she spoke with the probation department. she did not want turner to "rot in prison." but the six months sentence. does not reflect her feelings on the outcome of this case. and now turner is getting 3 following the sentence of the ex stanford swimmer. a million people have signed a petition for his removal. >> steve:now we have learned the backlash agains the judge is affecting at least one other obviously had some sort of impact. >> reporter:ralph robles jr is the defendant in the misdemeanor criminal case currently in front of judge persky. he says during yesterday's jury selection many potential jurors brought up the controversial case. they defianately brought it up, how it affected them how it affected their lives how it could affect their judgement. >> reporter:in the end he says approximently 20 jurors were excused because they didn't feel they could be unbiased in judge persky's courtroom. >>we still got a jury, they have a top notch staff, everything is just humming along normally >> reporter:i sat inside persky's my eyes the judge appeared calm and attentive and not distracted by the fact that close to a million people have signed an online removal from the bench. >> reporter:but the judge is not without supporters.this hayward resident showed up today to give persky a letter.asking him not to buckle to the fight.not to resign because then you endangering the feel that he got off too easy. >> reporter:brock turner was sentenced to roughly six months in the county jail but will almost certainly be released after serving just three months, says legal analyst steven clark. >> reporter:most students are not buying turner's efforts to blame alcohol and peer pressure for his actions. a few say the publicity now unfolding is also a kind of punishment. one said tonight. >> reporter:on wednesday, a san jose police department internet crimes against children and child exploit task force arrested 34 year old marc alquiza. he is a san jose resident. alquiza is also the wrestling coach here at independence high school. he's also the coach of the summer wrestling club. alquiza is facing two felony counts of lewd acts with a minor. the acts apparently occured this past may. the victim in this case is a girl and at the time.. back in may.. she was apparently 14 years old. alquiza was booked into the santa clara county main jail. as of thursday evening, we don't have many more details on this case. we also don't know if the police department knows of any with information on this case is asked to contact san jose police. in the south bay, charles assault with a deadly weapon and outstanding warrants. no one was injured in the crash. >> steve:a woman who police say stole an ambulance from the san francisco fire department. pleaded not guilt in
