When he got here the gunman had ran off. Police say this is an odd case because the gunman had already taken the money and still shot the employee. Lt. Rick decosta San Leandro Police the suspect was last seen running west on cherrywood avenue so with that information when other officers arrived in the area we set up a perimeter and conducted a k9 search along with the alameda Co Sheriffs Office unfortunately we were unable to locate the suspect during that k9 search, it was a little over an hour long, the search itself. Police never found the gunman but they do believe he left the area. As for the victim, he suffered nonlife threatening injuries. On east 14th street in san leandro. Police say an armed man wearing a knit ski mask robbed the restaurant. Then after he got the cash he shot one of the employees twice in the leg. take vo it just so happens that a Police Officer was parked about a block away and heard commotion. When he got here the gunman had ran off. Police say this is an odd case because the gunman had already taken the money and still shot the employee. Lt. Rick decosta San Leandro Police the suspect was last seen running west on cherrywood avenue so with that information when other officers arrived in the area we set up a perimeter and conducted a k9 search along with the alameda Co Sheriffs Office unfortunately we were unable to locate the suspect during that k9 search, it was a little over an hour long, the search itself. Police never found the gunman but they do believe he left the area. As for the victim, he suffered nonlife threatening injuries. The federal government has approved money that will allow caltrain to upgrade its system. The project includes buying the new trains and installing overhead electric lines that will stretch from san jose to San Francisco. After reviewing the project, the Us Department of transportation has approved about 650 Million Dollars to complete the project. Police say he fired shots at People Living inside an antioch home. Police went to a home on Saint Francis drive around noon yesterday. Three People Living in that home say they were shot at. No one was hit. The suspected gunman was found in a nearby home. A swat team was able to convince the man to surrender just before 10 00 last night. mark oj simpson could be released this year on parole after spending nearly a decade behind bars. Simpson is scheduled for a parole hearing in july. The former nfl star turned actor is serving nine to 33 years in prison at a prison 90 miles east of reno. The incident happened last week when a mother was inside the store with her daughter the woman says navarro groped her 12yearold daughter right in front of her. Fairfield police were able to quickly track him down and arrest him. mark San Francisco Police Arrest a woman after she tried to snatch a child out of his mothers arms. It happened yesterday morning inside the Ferry Building on the embarcadero. Bystanders helped the mother and her little boy and were able to stop the kidnapping. Police say the woman tried to convince witnesses that the little boy belonged to her. Officers say the woman and the victims did not know each other. Security was tightened in and around the Ferry Building following the incident. darya a Union City Man accused of trying to set several dennys customers on fire in hayward made his first court appearance. 43 year old victor rubio is facing seven counts of assault, a count of child endangerment and a count of attempting to set a fire. According to court documents, rubio told police that voices told him to do it and that people were out to kill him. Say they received a call that the boy was threatening his mom with a gun. When police got to the scene, the teen had already left. But his mom said he still had the gun with him. He was later found at a playground. Police say he pointed his gun at them and one officer fired his gun. The boy was taken to the hospital. His condition has not been released. darya state lawmakers passed a bill to strenghten gun laws in schools. The California Assembly passed the bill yesterday, sending the measure to the state senate. It revokes superintendents ability to give people permission to carry guns on campus.
