Harris is facing several other chrages which include lewd acts and oral sex with a minor 1417 years of age between 2011 and 2015. And a misdemeanor charge of Sexual Battery involved the same victim. The deputy coroner was working in the Marin County Sheriffs Department at the time. We reached out to the department. In a statement, they say we are deeply saddened and troubled by mr. It is the same area where police were searching for aly yeoman just one month ago. Police found yeomans truck and cell phone shortly after she went missing. Lydia. lydia lydia Police Arrested 46year old Darrell Harris on thursday in eureka and he is expected here at the marin county courthouse at 9am. take vo harris is the marine county deputy coroner. Hes accused of sexually assaulting an underage girl multiple times over a 7year period. Investigators say the victim was between 14 and 17years old. Hes facing four felony counts of child molestation. Hes also facing a fifth misdemeanor charge of Sexual Battery involving the same victim. The Santa Rosa Police department will be investigating this case due to a conflict of interest because harris worked with the Marin County Sheriffs Department. In a statement to kron4 news, a spokesperson for the Marin County Sheriffs Department said we are deeply saddened and troubled by mr. Harriss arrest. We will be initiating an internal review of this matter as well. Our thoughts are with the victim during this difficult time. tag we did check the arrest records this morning. James. james the most recent incident happened early sunday morning. Police are looking for the person who assaulted a man on the east side of campus. The victim is expected to be ok. Police are also looking for the person who tried to break into a Residence Hall by prying open a window screen. It was actually a student who scared him off. That student told police he heard noises at his window and when he looked out he saw a Person Holding the window screen. The wouldbe burglar ran off. And over the last month there have also been reports of indecent exposure and assault. Students we spoke with say anxiety levels are going up and so are police patrols. james last week Police Arrested this man. Hes charged with prowling on campus. Investigators are looking to see if hes behind two indecent exposure incidents last month. Also last month, two people were sexually assaulted within minutes of each other. Police are still looking for the attacker in that case. Students we spoke to say the university is doing a good job of keeping them informed about all of the incidents on campus.
