recreational marijuana tax could mean a refund for people who live there. which could be as much as 100-million dollars! that's because colorado's taxpayer bill of rights sets limits on taxes and government spending. if the government collects more than expected, a refund could be issued. the 100-million dollar estimate comes from the state's budget advisers. but there's a chance the state might not collect as much in marijuana taxes as expected. we won't know until the coming fiscal year closes in june of 2015. the fbi is refusing to run nationwide background checks on people applying
