top stories we're working on this monday, december 23rd. an overnight shooting in san francisco leaves one person in critical condition. we're live at the scene this morning. and a big deadline today to sign up for the health care exchange. what you need to know coming up. and say goodbye to candlestick. tonight will be the *last home game ever at the iconic park. we're live at the stick. new this morning, one person is in critical condition this morning after being shot in the stomach. this is video of the scene overnight. >>george: her family is fighting to keep the 13-year-old on life support at children's hospital oakland. a judge ruled friday that jahi could not be taken off life support until an independent neurologist examined her. the hospital says the teen has been brain dead for eleven days after suffering complications during routine surgery to remove her tonsils. family members have asked for a second opinion, and accused the hospital of being callous. an independent medical expert could examine jahi as soon as today. jahi's uncle says they will be holding a march for her this morning at 10 am, meeting in front of children's hospital oakland. we have continuing coverage of the mcmath family's battle to keep jahi on life support. for updates anytime just log onto our website kron 4 dot-com. today is the deadline for most americans to sign up for health insurance under the affordable care act. and with the recent problems with the rollout, support among voters continues to fall. the latest c-n-n poll shows, support for the affordable care act has dropped to a record low. just 35-percent approve of the law -- a five point drop in less than a month. 62-percent oppose it, despite the president's efforts to defend it. the administration did offer a reprieve, last week, to people whose policies are being cancelled and who haven't been able to find affordable plans on the exchanges. they'll be allowed to buy catastrophic coverage or be exempted from the fine. also, california's health insurance exchange is scrambling to help consumers as the deadline hits to enroll for coverage starting january 1st. covered california, the agency overseeing the state's marketplace, says enrollments under the federal health law began ramping up dramatically as monday's deadline approached. they have surged to more than 20-thousand in just one day. overall, the exchange has reported more than 109- thousand enrollments through the end of november, the most recent date for which the exchange has released official figures. customers who enroll in a health plan have until january 6th to pay their premiums. it's a historic day for candlestick park. the niners will play their * last regular season game tonight. kron four's will tran is live at the park with more on tonight's game. will?
