open all during this time. to the right, you can see the work they're going to be doing. for those driving in this direction, they will have to detour. caltrans is trying to get the word out as best they can. there are encouraging people to take the san mateo bridge, dumbarton bridge or using bart. all of these cars going here will stop at 8:00 p.m. tonight. >>darya: day shows this weekend because it is a good weekend traffic lights. a lot of people have monday off. today's commute looks very friday light. >>george: hardly anyone is showing up. there's very little traffic and we are incident free. your other options from the east bay are to take the san mateo bridge or the dumbarton. people who normally use these bridges want to bear in mind that there will be extra traffic. if this is a normal commute you may want to think about giving yourself ill little extra time. caltrans picked this week and because traffic is generally lighter. >>mark: the latest developments out of san joaquin county, a cadaver dogs will be brought out as early as today to continue the search for human remains. 1000 bone fragments have already been found in this well alone. >>mark: coming up, a.m. for seattle. last night he spoke with a sold-out crowd at the masonic center, mostly about his accomplishments. the president raised more than $29 million for its campaign of last month, but not everyone at last night's event was in support of the president. one heckler tried to interrupt. >>darya: protesters had their signs out and had their signs out about what they wanted to protest. there were religious groups, medical marijuana supporters. with the president's departure this morning, again he is leaving at 9:00 p.m., there is the possibility of traffic problems. george will be along sun will be making its comeback. it is a cold start to the morning with a couple occasions sitting in the 30's. as we head into the afternoon the clouds will roll in mixed with sunshine and temperatures in the upper 50s and low 60s. we have the potential for what weather as we headed to the overnight hours serious it looks like that rain chance will stick north of the golden gate. here the kron4 news will be right back. >>mark: apparent california attorney general, there is is reviewing a new report that found more than 80 percent of home foreclosures and san francisco have missing documents or signatures violating the law. she says the findings are no surprise to her and is working on reducing -- introducing legislation to bring tougher penalties for foreclosure violations. george vesco and says he is awaiting documents to determine if any crimes were committed. >>darya: oakland police are looking for a person wanted in an attempted sexual assault. they're offering a $7,500 reward for information that leads to an arrest. the attack happened tuesday in the 2800 block of east 10th street. a man approached a woman from behind. he had a knife, forced her to the floor and attempted to sexually assault her. she screamed and then he ran away. police described the man they're looking for as clean shaven, a latino male in his 20s off about 5 ft. 5 in. with a heavy build. a san jose janitor has been arrested, accused of stealing and dozens of laptops from the biotech company demand tech. they believe he took 41 laptops from the company. surveillance video tied him to the task which they say happened between february of last year until he was arrested last week. investigators say he shipped the laptops to family members overseas. >>mark: we are back until 10:00 a.m., here is a live look at the james lick. the sun is coming up and traffic is fairly light. >>mark: we're watching modest gains on wall street. the dow is over the 12,100 mark that told of the 931. the nasdaq is down almost five. word that the online reduce service yelped is setting an ideal target price of 12-$14 a share. that could value the seven year-old company as high as 840 million. the setting of the price range means that they are close to its initial public offering of stock. the process began three months ago when they filed plans to go public. i feel pricings come out two-three weeks before the stock hits wall street. we will be watching to see what happens. >>darya: let's see what happens with the the weather today as we try to warm up a little bit. it is the chilly. >>erica: it is a cold start to the morning, especially if you are waking up in the north bay. most locations are seeing 30 degree temperatures for the good news is we will warm things up slightly as we headed to the afternoon with a mix of sun and clouds. for the most for temperatures in the '60s. into the overnight the clouds will increase and keep rolling for. we have the potential of a 20 percent chance of rain in some of our inland spots. more on that in our extended forecast. as we take a look at the chilly temperatures, take a look at napa, nevada and fairfield. south of the golden gate we are seeing mild conditions. future cast 4 does show by noon we will see a good mix of '50s and '60s, cooler along the coast line. afternoon highs shows most locations in the '60s. satellite and radar does show the potential for some weather behind the cloud cover. as a check out future cast 4 you will see a p.m. friday we will not see too much out there. as we advance the clock if six of the woolsey potentially we could pick up some light sprinkles with could see rainfall tonight stretching into tomorrow morning. we have the potential for showers tonight as well as sunday and monday. >>george: closing conditions pretty much describes the commute this morning with no backup on the bay bridge and no hot spots to track for your drive from the bay area. it is light traffic as he headed to the toll plaza from the macarthur maze. there are no delays or problems. your ride on the san mateo bridge, one of the alternates to the bay bridge, the west outside, you will find it is an easy trip with no delays. your ride on the golden gate is also an easy trip inbound and outbound. as mentioned earlier, friday's we typically see more traffic and the northbound direction then shooting involving a federal agents. one is dead and another is injured. this happened at the immigration and customs enforcement agency office in long beach. authorities say there was a confrontation between an ice officer: and a supervisor that escalated into gunfire. >> when the incident escalated, one agent fired several rounds at the other agent. the victim is currently hospitalized in stable condition. at the time the incident occurred, and other agents working nearby intervened in fired his weapon to prevent additional rounds from being fired at the victim. this resulted in the death of the shooter. at this time we believe that this was an isolated incident and we believe the shooter was acting alone. >>darya: no names have been released. >>mark: one week after her death, whitney you cannot go this way all the way until tuesday morning. through the weekend, this closure will be in effect from 8:00 p.m. until tuesday, 5:00 a.m.. >>mark: the u.s. coast guard says an oil tanker barge collided with another on the mississippi river spilling oil and leading officials to close a 5 mi. stretch of the mississippi. direct trade-in the tanker barge. another vessel sank. the league is now contained that the coast guard is trying to figure out how much oil spilled into the mississippi. >>darya: a teenager is in custody after two people were shot during a market crop parade in new orleans last night. the victims were hit in the leg and the shooter they say is a 16 year-old boy. market growth celebrations continue this week and until fat tuesday which is next tuesday. >>darya: we're following this hour, the upper deck of the bay bridge closing at 8:00 p.m.. traffic is not allowed westbound. the lower deck remains open. the bridge is scheduled to reopen tuesday morning at 5:00 a.m., if everything goes according to plan. cadaver dogs will be brought out as early as today to search for more human remains in linden. crews have been looking for more human remains if said speed freak killers. investigators are trying to search for more victims. they started their killing spree in 1984 and it went on for 14 years. in september of '84, shermantine and herzog found a santa clara resident asleep in his truck near the town of hope valley in the sierra. herzog is suspected of murdering cal. in november the to robbed and murdered two drifters near stockton. in '85 if they picked up a 25 year-old at a park in stockton and drove her to linden were herzog says shermantine great and murdered her. weeks later sell wheeler was reported missing from stockton. in 1999 there were both arrested after dna evidence link to them to build wheeler and vendor time. >>mark: shermantine was not convicted of the 2001. the murder convictions for herzog were overturned. he committed suicide this january after he apparently learned of shermantine agreement to reveal the location of the pairs of victims. stay with kron4 as it continues to follow the latest of a search for a lot of clouds are developing, pushing their way through. a mix of sun and clouds as we head into the afternoon. right now, a lot of locations are sitting in the '30's. overnight, the clouds will continue to increase. we will have the potential for wet weather. scattered showers will be pretty late in nature and will not affect your commute or anything like that. turning our attention to the numbers outside the door, fairfield is hovering just above freezing. into the afternoon we will see a mix of sun and clouds. oakland coming in at 64. some of our coastal spots like half moon bay will stay in the upper '30's. we do anticipate 66 degree weather in santa rosa and 61 in downtown san francisco. we are not taking up any rain on the radar just yet. a lot of cloud cover streaming its way into the bay area. behind those clouds we could pick up some sprinkles. a 20 percent chance of rain tonight and tomorrow and sunday and monday. we will warm things up as this are the next work with. >>george: we have a hot spot developing an unexpected place. highway 24 westbound, this is some of the slowest traffic we have seen this entire morning. it resulted from what was reported as a minor accident that was not in the traffic lanes more than tenders 15 minutes. it was cleared well over an hour ago. we mentioned a little bit of slow traffic on the approach to the caldecott tunnel, sadly the backup has built all the way to the walnut creek interchange. a 6 mi. per hour backup leading to the caldecott tunnel. we will continue to track this as a hot spot this morning. great conditions
