The shooting happened on sunday afternoon and now, police are asking for the publics help in finding the shooter. Reporter police say the victim and her husband were going south on 98th avenue right near, take a closer look, somewhere between the 4 and 600 block, somebody open fire on the vehicle striking the victim who was in the passenger seat, the husband continued driving the remaining blocks to their home, it is there that the victim died outside as people tried cpr. More tonight on the investigation. Memorial candles flicker outside the oakland home. The 30yearold mother of 4 was shot and killed sunday afternoon and she and her husband drove home from the grocery store. We believe at this time, it is a case of road rage. Police say at 12 30 the couple was heading south in 98th avenue in this black toyota camry. Thats when something happened between their vehicle and another vehicle, then, tragedy. Someone fires on the vehicle, one of the bullets strikes the windshield and continues on striking the victim who is sitting in the passenger seat. Multiple shots were fired, a fatal shot did strike our victim the husband drove just a few blocks away where family members started cpr. They continued cpr, unfortunately she passed away from fatal injury. Police are not releasing any information about the suspect or their vehicle or about what may have caused the attack. But they are appealing to the public who they say may have seen something between the 400 and 600 block of 98th avenue. Were asking anyone who may live or work in the area to check your video have captured prior to it happening, during or prior. She leaves behind a husband and 4 children, the youngest just a year old. On a fund raising page for her funeral she is quoted as saying the most precious jewels around your neck are the arms of your children. New tonight at 6 00, a victim of a weekend hitandrun Near San Jose State University has died. Police have made an arrest. Police say they arrested a 22 yearold man on felony hitand run charges for the incident. They say a man hit a person crossing south 10th street, then hit a parked car as he tried to get away. Officers tracked the driver down at an apartment on the Southeast Side of the campus, say he surrendered without incident there. Police say the victim is accused of hitting died this afternoon. New at 6 00, police are warning people about a rash of strong armed robberies, they say the man in this picture robbed a person at the office max store on plaza drive yesterday afternoon, but that is just the latest incident. Police say the robbers are approaching their victims on foot, grabbing jewelry, or handbags and then running off to a waiting car. The county District Attorneys offices has decided whether or not to press charges against an officer. He is being investigated forallegedly obtaining and sharing photographs, a female dui suspects. A search warrant in the case reveals a pair of incidents dating back to august of this year. A criminal justice professor at the college explains what may be holding up the das decision to press charges. These cases are complex because they are getting access to the officers own personal cell phone, computers, communication documented communication between the officers to see how far it goes, there is allegedly one or more of several female victims, this could go back some distance and this could involve other jurisdictions apparently the one officer come up from Southern California where this practice may have occurred before. So where this goes, nobody knows. The District Attorney is expected to make a decision on whether or not to file charges against chp officer Shaun Harrington later this week. Another shooting under investigation in San Francisco, this happened just after midnight. A man riding his bicycle when someone shot him. The bullet hit him in the foot and he is expected to survive. They dont have any suspects in this case. And a flight comes to a halt because of a wifi hot spot. This was supposed to leave for the uk late last night.
