But from what neighbors tell me, a lot of these animals are strays. They come here to eat, because food is set out for them. But those same cats are causing other homeowners stress. The cats come in the backyard and the front yard. They get messy. They kill a squirrel, and theres a lot of blood reporter its up to each homeowner to keep their yard clean. Theres no controlling stray cats, but if one does decide to feed them, there are ways to go about it. Make sure that before you do any sort of feeding, that you are heavily engaged in trapping the cat, making sure its neutered, then releasing the cat. If a person isnt willing to trap neuter and return, they really should not be feeding the animal at all.
