say something. >> there are going to be an increase on officers working on feet, plainclothes officers, uniformed officers. and everybody as available and to make sure that everybody is safe. >> reporter: out here live, police say that they're going to be monitoring several lives security cameras along the parade route. one at the beginning, one at the end. a bomb sniffing k-9 unit will also be used. there are no significant threats that have been placed on any of the san francisco pride festivities. they are making sure that this stays safe and enjoyable. it starts on market street. and grant is standing by on the parade route. >> pride parade starts sunday morning at 10:30 here at the corner of market and beale streets in downtown san francisco. but streets will close at 7:30 sunday morning. the crowd will head west on market street.with the parade ending at market and eighth streets. worth noting here.muni's f- line that uses the market street tracks will not be running during the parade. the parade is expected to last until around 2:30 sunday afternoon. market street will be open again when things are cleared up. it is worth noting that the muni 'f ' line will not be running during disclosure. >> pam: a beautiful day. this is a live look outside at san francisco. pretty warm today but hot weather is coming our way. and our chief meteorologist, jacqueline bennett? >> jacqueline: hot! it is going to be so hot for the inland valleys there is already a heat advisory. with an excessive heat advisory in effect with '90s as what we expected. 91 degrees in concord. 94 were in concord. the south-bay, 94 -- in antioch. we're also seeing some nine these for the north-bay. and even triple digits in napa. warmer in san francisco, 73 degrees. it is going to get even warmer and out the day tomorrow the temperatures in the '70s by 8:00 a.m. the lunch hour, temperatures are already going to be into the '90s. it will already be 94 degrees in fairfield as we go for the 2:00 p.m. hour those triple digits through the central valley. indicated by the pink. temperatures still in the 60s but 80s and 90s tomorrow and even warmer for the weekend. more on that hot weekend forecast, coming up. >> catherine: a judge today denied bail for former new england patriots tight end aaron hernandez. in a stunning fall from grace - hernandez faces first degree murder charges in the death of a friend. but the real shocker today.he's reportedly also being investigated in the murder of two boston men last year. the former patriots tight end stood quietly in court today.as attorneys argued over whether he's a flight risk. prosecutors say aaron hernandez orchestrated the execution of a friend june 17th -- semi pro player odin lloyd. hernandez's lawyer argued thursday that the case against him is circumstantial. but prosecutors say they have plenty of evidence. saying surveillance video taken from hernandez's own home security system showed the football player with a that text messages showed he picked up lloyd in a car he had rented. and that more surveillance video captured the car arriving and leaving the crime scene. lloyd's body was found in a remote area of an industrial park - not far from hernandez's home. as for a motive. >> "the two of them had gone to a club on friday night. they ended up spending the whole night together and there were certain things that happened during the night that he was upset about and now didn't trust the victim." >> catherine: newspaper reports thursday had more to say on a possible motive. saying hernandez is also being investigated now for a 2012 double homocide. and that investigators suspect that his friend might have been killed because he knew too much. prosecutors aren't talking publicly yet about any possible connection to that double murder in boston. meantime.this scene.shot on someone's cell phone. you can hear fans chanting "innocent" -- as hernandez was being taken from court in a sheriff's van. the judge denied bail. >> pam: major immigration reform passes a major hurdle. we'll break down the so called border security act. and tell you the challenges it still faces -- ahead. >> catherine: but first, the george zimmerman trial. the neighborhood watch volunteer accused of killing an unarmed teenager. a key witness wraps up testimony -- but not before the defense points out holes in her story. that's ahead. ♪ [ male announcer ] wouldn't it be great if all devices had backup power? >> just earlier today. >> you did not >> catherine: the woman has admitted that she has lied about her age, being martin's girlfriend, and why she didn't go to his funeral. she also was unable to read the very letter she claimed to have written to trayvon martin's mother - describing the last few moments of his life, which she said she had heard on the phone. >> pam: the search is on for the gunman behind a deadly shooting in oakland. they found one man with multiple gunshot wound this is the oakland's 44th homicide this year. >> the contra costa county sheriffs office putting their achievement on display. today they showed off nearly one hundred weapons they took off the streets of the county in just one month. it was the result of a task force with the sheriff's office, the californina department of justice,the highway patrol and the pittsburgh police that is intended to arrest those prohibted from owning firearms. in addition to the weapons more than thirty thousand rounds of ammunition were confiscated. >> this particular case or in all cases when it relates to firearms those that have a demonstrated history of violence or drug trafficking are going to use these weapons for illegal reasons. and these were just the highlights for the month of may, these three cases that are outlined this morning >> pam: it was the largest confiscation of weapons since the task force began work in 2011 and resulted in fourteen arrests. a federal grand victory is continuing a federal grand jury has indicted dzhokhar tsarnaev -- the surviving suspect in the boston marathon bombings. the 30-counts accuse dzhokhar tsarnaev and his brother tamerlan tsarnaev of using weapons of mass destruction and killing four people. three people died in the marathon bombing -- the brothers are also accused of killing an m-i-t campus officer. gunfight with authorities. 19-year old dzhokhar tsarnaev was found hiding in a boat. he will be arraigned on july 10-th in the u-s- district court in boston. >> catherine: president obama says he won't engage in any 'wheeling, dealing or trading' to get nsa leaker edward snowden extradited to the u.s. it's not clear exactly where snowden is now -- although it was believed he was holed up at the moscow airport. while in africa today.the president says he has not personally called the leaders of russia or china in an effort to get him back -- saying he shouldn't have to. >> "we try to extradite somebody" through our justice department, clear requests. to both initially, hong kong. and russia. we seek the extradition and we are going to the regular legal channels that are involved to try to extradite someone. >> obama also says he won't be scrambling military jets to go after the hacker. rejecting suggestions that the u-s might send the air force to down a plane carrying snowden to another country. >> jacqueline: with crystal clear skies were there is not a cloud in sight. temperatures are low warmer by quite a bit. the 80s and 90s. and 95 degrees temperatures are -- much warmer than what we've seen earlier. tomorrow in the next several days this warming trend is going to continue. temperatures getting into the upper 90s in triple digits. saturday, sunday that heat advisory is only going to be worse. fog by 6 and clearing for the coast it looks like the fog will be hovering. but some breaks along the coast. and along the coast, temperatures in the '60s and '70s in san francisco. upper 80s in san francisco. the east bay shores 84 this most part. 88 degrees in union city. for the east bay inland valleys it is going to be the warmest. triple digits and antioch. 100 degrees! toward livermore, and burlingame. the south- bay, low 90s. 90's in sunnyvale but 86 degrees in mountain view and quite a few 90's in the north-bay. 90's in santa rosa. 90's in napa. it is going to be hot with this weekend with a heat advisory issued for most of the north bay. the areas highlighted and also to the inland valleys and portions of the south-bay. this will be in effect for saturday and sunday. as for take a look to our extended forecast temperatures getting into the '90s with triple digits possible on sunday. monday, certainly, the warmest day. things will cool down to more dramatically on the fourth of july holiday. >> catherine: more problems with pala dean.. goodnight. thanks, olivia. thank you. so you can make a payment from your cell to almost anyone's phone or email.
