" two officers were killed in the line of duty and the man who shot them is also dead. >> we have team coverage of the story this morning. we are learning new details on exactly what happens. we will also hear from residents in the area who are shocked and devastated that this happened and so close to home. plus, who were these officers? and who do they leave behind. we would share the new information in our team coverage. >> more on this tragic story out of santa cruz and just a bit, but we began with a developing story in san francisco. a water main break causes a big mess. crews have not shut off water to residents. it is in the area of 50 avenue and wawona, in west portal. kron4 jackie sissel is live on the scene. >> this is a 16 in. water main that broke gallons of water into the street and into cars. some of these areas were completely filled with water and you can see all the stuff that is floating in the water. all in all this stated that a dozen or more homes have been affected by this. here is video from early this morning where the water was actually washington restrained. it was thousands of gallons that were coming down. i had a chance to talk to someone from the public works department. >> the water came out and all of the dirt that called the silver was coming out. basically, we are treating this as a hazardous waste and we have to make sure that we get these phones cleaned up. >> i am not sure whether not the camera can show you how much mud as out here. but you are probably looking at about a foot of mud that is out here. >> last time jackie, when we have this a understood the amount of mud. where is all of this mud coming from?
