new this morning.. an unusual police chase overnight.. the suspect - in the middle of the whole thing - stops at the drive- thru of an "in and out" burger. team 12's bryan west is live with the bizarre this in-n-out burger in chandler was what a man police were pursuing last night was all about. around ten last night police followed a white pickup traveling at fairly low speeds along city streets in the south phoenix and ahwatukee areas.he made his way to this drive thru at in-n-out near chandler and ray. the car ordered several items before moving up to the service window.no joke he was able to get out of the parking lot without being stopped by police who were not seen on 12 near the restauarant.the driver eventually went into a neighborhood near this fast food restaurant, got out of the car and went into a backyard.police helicopter lights followed him as he went, he surrendered hands up behind the house.police able to bring him into custody. not sure what caused the pursuit in the first place and matt/tram what he ordered still yet to be confirmed but he did take it to go.live in chandler, bw 12 today. headlines.. a farm in buckeye is looking for a pumpkin thief after more than 300 pumpkins were stolen overnight. the stolen pumpkins account for roughly 15-percent of "rocker 7" farm's annual pumpkin revenue - that's about a $3-thousand dollar loss. thankfully - they are insured and the farm is planning on having a new crop delivered this weekend. so far - police have no leads on who might have stolen the pumpkins. talk about a bizarre heist.. the arizona animal welfare league is looking for after they were stolen from the shelter sunday night. surveillance video caught the suspected thiefs taking the puppies to their car near 40-th and washington streets. a-a-w-l says the puppies are 10-week-old cattle dog mixes. they all have infections and are at risk of getting sicker if not treated soon. officials say they will not press charges if the puppies are returned quickly. dozens of people in buckeye are looking for answers this morning after their water bills mysteriously skyrocketed. city 40 cases where customers felt they were being billed for water they never used. she said most of the time.. the people later found leaks - but in some cases.. there was no explanation whatsoever.. and those residents are still paying hundreds - if not thousands of dollars each month. team 12 is working to get answers and will bring you the latest. the outdoor shopping center in downtown phoenix is getting a facelift. according to the "phoenix business journal".. the arizona center -
