That means people entering on a permanent basis and temporary basis. People who hold American Green cards who are overseas are exempt under the National Interest waiver in the executive order and will processed through. Everyone who has applied for such a waiver has received a waiver and are exempt under the order. For that reason, theyre not covered by it. I dont want to get into a fight with them, but they left our borders fairly open and many unfortunately preventable deaths as a result of that in many different areas including sanctuary cities, nonenforcement of removal orders, failure to repatriote aliens. My point to you today is when you have to screen hundreds of thousands of people day after day into the United States, it only makes sense when youre establishing new vetting procedures, you reduce migration from the most dangerous ideas identified by the administration until a better screening system is put into place. In august, a power outage caused more than 2,000 flights to be canceled over three days.
