degrees cooler in santa rosa than it was yesterday at this time. the city city did not get out of the 60s all day today and they had been getting into the low 80s for the the past couple of days. a beautiful time lapse of the last last 40 minutes or so showing the marine layer can creeping in in over the west side of the city and that will overtake not only the city, but everybody in the immediate day tonight. we ck we cook woke up to gray skies everywhere this morning from san san jose to santa rosa and you can see the influence that had. santa rosa at 73, san jose at 76. those numbers have been in the low 90 degree territory yesterday and on friday and if we just do a little bit of the arithmetic on this, santa rosa is 17 degrees cooler right now than you were yesterday. san francisco is 12 degrees cooler and so was san jose, oakland, concord, livermore didn't cool down as much as everybody else, only a four degree drop. those are not the official numbers yet, we will have that coming up up in the 6:00 our but they are pretty close to it so it gives us a good idea on how dramatically today changed and we will bring those clouds in again overnight tonight, that's monday morning, gray skies, the santa clara valley wakes up in total gray, east bayshore, the entire peninsula and the northbay valleys we will have a lot of this spilling into the petaluma gap and working its way way up to napa tomorrow as well and of course you will have plenty of sunshine by the aftern the afternoon and it will look and feel just like today did. morning lows upper 50s tomorrow, tomorrow, with daytime highs on monday going up to right around 90, 89 in concorde, 87 livermore, san jose to 82 and tomorrow will be mid-70s. judging by how much cooler today's numbers were, some of these might even be a little high for tomorrow because the pattern is not going to change a a whole lot. more on how that will play out in the 7-day forecast but first here's the latest up date on ian, rapidly intensifying with a big mess of clouds , it's a hurricane likely likely by tomorrow, at one point point it likely does reach category for strength, that is an incredibly intimidating number for a hurricane, however, however, it will do that out here over the open water and as it moves north it will encounter encounter cooler sea surface tes surface temperatures and a little more shear in the upper levels and it will weaken a little bit. it comes on sure at this point almost certainly somewhere here in the gulf most likely the west coast of florida florida but that track has shifted a little bit and the intensity is what the question is, how strong will it be when it comes on sure and that's what what we will watch closely. what what we just saw play through here was the next 10 days of storms going into the pacific northwest and the reason why it's good to look at that now, because we got rain coming our way but because none of those from now through about the first first four or five days of october turning to those inside sliders for us meaning offshore wind events. we don't have any for the next week and a half which is great news, and the temperatures look great. low 80s 80s in san jose, mid to upper 70s in oakland, and when we look look at the microclimates it will be mid-80s in general, maybe a 90 degree day there on friday and that's about it. this this is a pretty good stretch of of weather. >> it looks good to me. > >> president biden and florida governor desantis have both declared a state of emergency ahead of what is
