The snow has started and overnight will come the heavy winds. The front end of an epic blizzard swept into the frigid Nations Capital this afternoon as hundr hington, d. C. Snow plows hit the street, trying to stay ahead of a forecast calling for two feet of snow, or more, complicated by wind gusts up to 55 miles an hour. I just dont want people to be in the street, me, personally, because once we get behind the snow, its going to be a hard time fighting to get back on top. In terms of snow totals were still looking at some huge numbers here. In the d. C. Area, were talking upwards of 30 inches of snow possible, especially just west of the city. New york at 1018.
