The childrens mother came home last night to her apartment near central park found the bodies of her 2 and 6yearolds in the bathtub. The nanny also had stab wounds which police say wer self inflicted. The childrens father previously lived in San Francisco and worked at yahoo. A Bay Area Community College District took a 100,000 hit. It had nothing to do with budget cuts. Two former employees accused of embezzling the cash using a district credit card. Anne makovec reports from san mateo. Reporter one of those employees will be arraigned this afternoon. Prosecutors say its 200,000 and this could just be the beginning. Mark anthony and bradley john both 42 years old are charged with several felonies including embezzlement by a public officer, unauthorized use of another persons identification and altering computer data. One worked in the i. T. Department of the San Mateo County Community College district. Both had access to a credit card which officers say they used to buy computers and other gear they sold on craigslist and ebay for cash. They were arrested after another employee noticed a strange purchase on the credit card. The district turned it over to police. There was a work done in getting records from craigslist and ebay and the Credit Card Company and the district and so theres a lot of information a lot of records involved. Reporter officials with the College District did not want to speak on camera but the chancellor sent an email saying this has been a deplorable disconcerting affair and all evidence was observed to support prosecution to the fullest extent of the law. Bustos is on bond. The other suspect will be arraigned this afternoon. He has a 1 million bail so he has been in jail and hasnt been able to come up with that money. It is the fourth year in a row it opened up in october. They are making snow, too. Sierra resorts got more than 3 feet of snow from this past storm. Thats the heaviest october snowfall in five years. There may be some systems that roll over the top of the ridge bringing us clouds but otherwise, we are going to see some nice temperatures even at the beaches you should be very nice, dry right on in through the weekend. Not so on the eastern seaboard. Heres sandy just winding its way through the bahamas. It has weakened, category 1 storm sustained winds of 75 miles per hour. But the track is interesting. It has an area of low pressure thats diving to the south over the eastern part of country and then this system moves to the north. At the same time, the low digs down to the south and then the wraparound energy brings it back in toward the coastline possibly making landfall about tuesday as a category 1, very dangerous storm and heavy rain and flooding expected with that. Around the state 70s in fact central valley, 50s toward lake tahoe to see that snow. And the temperatures will be on the mild side today 72 in san jose, 66 in pacifica, east bay numbers up into the 70s in many spots. Inside the bay a lot of 60s and a few 70s. So a good weekend on tap for the bay area lots of sunshine, warm saturday and sunday. Wednesday we could see showers on halloween. By the way, did you know theres a World Series Game 3 this weekend .
