i don't know, investigators are working on that to find out what his motivation was and what his intent was and where he was going into his intended target was. at this point we don't know but we believe we were very successful in interrupting a violent crime. >> within minutes of the shooting, protesters began gathering and then marching through the streets of the mission, they marched on the police station writing " killers " on wall, many were screaming at tops calling them names. >> it is a little concerning that we have this arm convicted felon on the streets with a loaded assault pistol and these people seem to think that what we did was not appropriate. >> it is like a machine gun. >> that is quite a large gun, >> that looks scary. >> that is a technion semi- automatic. >> that is a lot of bullets. >> i think that is excessive police force and brutality is tragic and unfortunate, it is common. >> they said that he had his gun and pointed his gun at police. >> i don't know, i think there are probably other means, other than shooting someone. >> even if he is pointing his gun at them? >> as always we recommend people avoid swallowing water and then shower as soon as possible after swimming. >> watch those open cuts also? >> yes. >> with that good news, the e. coli rates lower, laurie shannon is here from the run and what does that mean to you? >> we are excited because now we can put on the race. for anyone that is really concerned about getting into the water, we're really excited that the numbers are low, they can run, bike, run, that is still an option, but to hear early so that you can switch over to that race. >> there are three legs, a swim and then the bicycle and and transitioning to the run. you say that people can opt out of the swimming?
