All right. Thank you, elizabeth. We are following breaking news from france. 12 people are dead after gunmen shot their way through the offices of a satirical newspaper in paris today. The gunmen have not been captured. And we have this video from the scene from a french tv station. The weekly paper has been threatened in the past for publishing caricatures of the prophet mohammad. French government leaders are planning an emergency meeting about this attack. A man was shot at the bay fair bart station in san leandro last night. The shooting happened in the parking lot outside the station shortly after 10 00. Officers say the victim was taken to a local hospital where he is listed in critical but stable condition. Californias highspeed rail system is now being built in the san joaquin valley. Governor brown among those in fresno for yesterdays groundbreaking ceremony. Reporter this is going to be a huge change from the way they have been doing things here on the bridge for decades having crews move plastic pylons to accommodate commute traffic, this new fix unstalled this weekend is going to be a lot more sturdy. And once the project is finished, this is how the new barrier will be moved each day with a zipper truck. Its designed to creep down the middle of the roadway sliding each hinged piece of the barrier which is made of concrete over one lane like a zipper. Its all designed to prevent headon collisions on the bridge. Its possible to have very, very serious tragic headon collisions. Reporter that will be changed with this new fix. The lanes will be smaller though, about 10 feet each. So drivers are being urged to go slowly until everybody gets used to the new median. He and four new City Council Members took the oath of office last night. Mayor liccardo addressed the citys key issues including the dwindling place force. Firefighters using power saws to cut through the rollup door, the front of the garage, what they found inside though was a little unexpected. Once they entered, they searched the area. They determined that there was no one in there. We got an allclear. They also discovered a grow house. They did. There were dozens of pot plants inside the garage.
