Police responded to a call at oakland road and grand avenue just after 2 a. M. A woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are working to figure out the motive and circumstances surrounding the death. We have a crew on the way and well give you an update as soon as we get it. Future of the south bay bar is in question because of problems neighbors say are caused by the bar. Kpix 5s kiet do in san jose explains the battle of the bar. Kiet. Reporter good morning. San jose police have been eyeing this bar for quite some time and they say they are pleased to see the changes might soon be coming. We have cell phone video from neighbors who say shows rowdy activity that happens almost every night there. Fights spilling into the streets, drunk hookers stumbling about, vomiting and loitering in front of homes. Neighbors say they have called 911 more than 100 times over the past two months. Two years ago, an employee was shot and killed right out front. City leaders say stripping, lap dancing, prostitution, selling drugs are the norm and its worse. Developing news. A coldblooded killer is back in prison after a few hours of freedom in ohio. 19yearold tj lane and two others climbed a fence to escape last night. This morning, all three are back in prison in custody. Lane was caught just a few yards away from the prison. With the help of the Sheriffs Office and the troopers that were in the area, they were able to shut the perimeter down pretty quick. So thats why he wasnt able to get out any farther than he did. The track star testified he thought he was shooting at a home intruder when he fired four shots into his locked bathroom door. A horrific accident captured on camera happened just as the schoolday was about to start in new hampshire. A driver hit a mother and her two daughters from behind, ran over both girls. Parents and teachers rushed to help the girls. I looked down and all i seen was my daughters hoodie and some of my daughters hair. And just started screaming, my kids, my kids. I was scared to death. But the girls did get injured but the injuries are not lifethreatening. They were released from the hospital. Police say the driver was distracted with kids in her car. People lashed out on finish calling it wasteful. One commenter said, there is no good explanation for a 14,000 espresso machine bought with district money, period. But at tonights meeting administrators explained the highend machine will allow the district to start catering its own events to bring in more revenue. One board member said not only will this save money, it will save an important job at the school. We have we have a 4. 5 hour position in the Child Nutrition Department that we were working really hard to keep that position. And in order to do that, this is an opportunity to keep that position.
