Reporter parents were concerned about whether kids who might not know what the bunny wrench is so we decided to do a Google Search to see what would show up. This is what we found. To understand why this billboard ended up in oakland, we spoke to the smiling man on the sign himself. [ indiscernible ] reporter he says he is not advertising the brothel but the bar and cigar area. He says if parents are worried, they should keep an eye on their kids and not on his sign. Were not doing anything illegal at all. Its a restaurant, a bar and by the way, kids eat free on tuesdays. Gallo tells us he will call the Billboard Company to ask them to remove the ad. Some developing news out of seattle this morning. One person was killed, two others were hurt in a shooting on a College Campus. As David Begnaud reports, some questioning thinking students stopped the gunman before things got worse. Reporter authorities in seattle have nabbed the man they say was behind the shooting on the campus of Seattle Pacific university thursday afternoon. We have one suspect in custody for this shooting. He is a white male approximately 26 years of age. Reporter the first shots were reported at about 3 30 local time. Police say the shooter acted alone, carried a knife and a shotgun, and opened fire in a campus building. At least one person was killed. Several others were injured. Heard a shot, bang. Looked outside and i saw a man lying face down on the ground with a man another man holding a shotgun over him. Reporter cops say some quick thinking students helped to put an end to the situation. A Student Monitor who works inside of that facility observed the suspect reloading the shotgun and was able to stop the individual at that point, pepper sprayed that person, then got them to the ground where other people inside of the facility were able to subdue him. Reporter emergency crews set up stretchers on the sidewalk waiting to treat victims and take them to local hospitals. The campus was placed on lockdown. This is a tragic moment for seattle and a tragic moment for america once again. Reporter Seattle Pacific university is a private Christian School with about 4,000 students. The Campus Community gathered at a special Church Service to pray for the shooting victims. David begnaud for cbs news, los angeles. A 19yearold man was killed, a 20yearold woman is in Critical Condition this morning. The other victim is now in stable condition. As for the shooter, 26yearold aaron ybarra has been booked and faces murder charges. Sunnyvale police shot and killed a man suspected of murdering a woman reported missing last year. This is molly who had been living at the same address as the suspect before she vanished. Sunnyvale police went to the home of glen griggs to arrest him for killing her. They must have suspected he would give them trouble because they brought the s. W. A. T. Team with them. Police say he ignored the officers and they had to force their way in. They used an Armored Vehicle to go through a security door and once inside, they say griggs pointed a gun at the officers and thats when he was shot and killed. An arbitrator supposed to take up the muni contract dispute tomorrow. Right now its not clear if muni operators who called in sick for three days this week will be fired. Drivers arent allowed to go on strike. Its against the law. But one of them told kpix 5s linda yee they came up with a sickout idea to get around the no strike ban. We never got a memo that said dont do it or do it. The sickout was staged after muni operators rejected a contract that gave them a nearly 12 raise over two years. If you are traveling northbound you will find it once youre trying to get to downtown northbound 880 two lanes closed between 16th and broadway. They should be wrapping that up closer to 5 00 and southbound if you are heading into san leandro, davis and marina, the left lanes closed for the next 20 minutes. We also have this overturn accident we have been watching since early this morning in santa rosa. Northbound 101 to westbound 12, like i mentioned it is an overturn accident but the car ran off the road so its no longer blocking lanes. New this morning, an american tourist has been detained in north korea for allegedly committing a crime. Jeffrey edward fowl has been there since april. Government officials are not giving details about exactly what he did. There are saying he committed acts inconsistent with a tourist visit. There are now three people held in north korea. Merrill newman was held for more than a month in north korea last winter accused of war crimes. The Swedish Embassy played a role in getting the 85yearold released. The pentagon says Bowe Bergdahls health continues to improve now that he is free. But no date has been set to bring him back to the United States where a debate over his release continues here. Members of congress say the white house is now giving a new explanation for why they didnt get 30 days notice of that prisoner swap. Administration Officials Say intelligence suggested the taliban would kill bergdahl if the deal became public but lawmakers, some are skeptical. The suspect is accused of killing three Royal Canadian mounted police and hurting two others. 24yearold Justin Bourque was arrested around midnight. He was hiding in a backyard of a home. Authorities say bourque went on a shooting rampage on wednesday in the city of moncton in eastern canada. He had been on the run since. You could tell he was on a mission. My stomach dropped. I had this feeling that something bad was going to happen. The town of 60,000 was on a lockdown during the entire ordeal. The owner of the home where bourque was found says he heard the suspect say, quote, im done, before surrendering to officers. No word as to why he went on the shooting spree. Kpix 5 was there as the stolen therapy dog was reunited with her rightful owner. Yeah. Love was stolen in san leandro while out on a walk with her owner and as Christin Ayers reports, this story has a hollywood ending thanks to a cbs star. This dog started jumping up and down as soon as we pulled into this place. Reporter after 24 hours apart, the reunion couldnt have been sweeter. Hi, love. How are you doing, love hi, love reporter arthur relieved to see his dog love again a day after someone stole her from the San Leandro Marina where he had taken her for a walk. Im just thankful to have my dog back. She means everything to me. And, you know, im just really happy that i have her back now. She is the most important thing. Reporter love, arthur says, is not just any dog. She is what kept him going after she was shot and left paralyzed 7 years ago. She even travels with him as part of his nonprofit which reaches out to young people to talk about violence.
