Off Duty Oakland Police officer under investigation now after he was arrested in San Francisco. The officer was cited and released but police did seize his gun, which was not issued by the Oakland Police department. Happening today, details will be unveiled of a proposed state law aimed at curbing the number of smartphone thefts. It calls for the requirement of kill switches which makes the phones use less if stolen.
