Police say the officer was hit once in the hand and then opened fire when herrera raise the bat again. Herrera had a runein with Livermore Police on saturday during a fight with friend. He got into a fight with his friend. Appeared he might have been under the influenceover methamphetamine or something else. Mr. Herrera was actually threatening to eat his friend. Police say herrera was covered in blood. He was tased and taken to a hospital. He left the hospital sunday morning against tad vice of doctors. Part of a condo complex in south san jose is blocked off after police make a gruesome discovery. Two bodies were found in the unit on norma gene way. So far, no word on how they died or the circumstances surrounding the death. Homicide detectives are now investigating. A day of almost polite protesting in morgan hill. Two Alameda County sheriffs deputies in a fight for their lives. Outnumbered and attack while answering a call to break up a domestic disturbance. It was between two men at this apartment complex late saturday night. When the deputies araved they tried to break it up. Thats when the men allegedly pounced on them. Well, the deputies say two suspects punched and tried to strangle them. It was all so bad they could barely radio out for back up. Blood stained door and walkway marked the battleground, video from the deputys body camera shows him falling after a series of fierce punches by one of the suspects. Kelly carter says the men were her husband and brother and she, too, was arrested. But she claims the deputies were violent. They were hitting me. My hands were behind me. They kept hitting me.
