According to the San Jose Mercury news these documents suggest that at least 7 City Employees reported flooding in the hardest hit neighborhoods nearly a day before the city started evacuating people. In response, mayor sam liccardo admits that the city was, quote, relying too heavily on data from the Water District. Marin county is putting underaged pot use to a vote today. Its adding that to the countys social host ordinance which originally targeted under age drinking. Supervisors wanted to specifically call out marijuana use in the amended ordinance. If approved, the amendment also allows citations to be issued to people responsible for gatherings where there is underaged drinking and pot use. A full hearing is set to begin at 10 a. M. More and more drivers are cheating the system and crossing bay area bridges without paying a toll. Its costing nearly 13 million a year in tolls. Now a new law is going to require dealerships to have license plates on all old and new cars before they leave the lot. That is going to take effect in 2019. Ceo tim cook tells bloomberg that the company is indeed working on selfdriving car technology. This is rumored for years. Project titan. There were numerous reports last year that apple changed its strategy with selfdriving technology. Not wanting to build an actual car, but focusing on the technology itself. Cook was pretty tightlipped about the rest of the details and is vague about what apple is working on but says the technology is core to the company. Apple one of the big reasons why the tech sector slumped big time the past two sessions. The worst two session selloff in the tech sector since last year. A lot of that is profittaking.
