He said the new policy doesnt go far enough. It should be mandated that Police Officers deescalate every situation. We need to make sure theyre held accountable. Our District Attorney hasnt prosecuted a Single Police officer in San Francisco. That needs to change. The new policy does encourage deescalation when feasible. But we do have a three to four vehicle accident blocking two lanes right past the metering lights.
