Reporter well, we just actually were on the bay bridge toll plaza and we made our way down here to russian hill. As most of you know, the speed limit on the bridge is 50 Miles Per Hour but at one point, we had to drop down to 30 miles an hour because the wind was just so horrific it was rocking our van back and forth. But it was looking lower vehicles as well. As we drove into closer to San Francisco, we can see the bay levels. They are so high and the wind is whipping the tides right in. There have problems all over. In the Mission District, all eyes are on 17th and folsom an area thats notorious for flooding whenever we have rain. Its been this way for almost 30 years now. Water flows from twin peaks right under doors. The sewer pipes need after overall, that wont happen until the city can find the 200 million a proecket ject project like costs. Staying in oakland but on the Joaquin Miller road, wind and rain brought down a tree forcing authorities to shut down one lane. Half a mile away, the bad weather brought down a power line briefly blocking people from getting up the road and into their homes. So just down the street were at union and polk but a few blocks away, pg e is on the scene of a downed power line there. They wouldnt comment or let us know what was going on but from what we could tell, power in that neighborhood is still up. But as far as the commute this morning, take it slow out there. Reporter yes, good morning. San jose police have cleared the scene after being here for much of the night. They say that it was obvious that the driver had been drinking when he went on the rampage hitting car after car in East San Jose. Now, this all began as a hit andrun crash in the parking lot of a deannys on the corner of capitol expressway and tours road. Thats when police say the suspect drove his black suv a short distance to where we are now here on the corner of center and singleton roads. Thats when a yellow volkswagen was making a left turn. The volkswagen had a green signal and was beginning to make a left turn when it was struck by the suspects vehicle who ran the red light. That caused the volks wag be on push forward. The suspect vehicles impacted directly with the drivers side door and we believe that killed the driver of the volkswagen. Reporter the suspect tried to flee the scene of the second crash and hit a dodge charger. That damaged the suspects vehicle and slowed him down enough for officers to arrive and arrest him. The suspect went to the hospital with unknown injuries. Hes described as a man about 30 years old and could face possible vehicular charges because of these crashes. Tammy unhadsman and her huntsman and her 17yearold boyfriend have been charged with murder. Police found a 9yearold girl severely injured in a quincy apartment. She led police to a storage unit in redding where they found the goddys of a 3year old girl and 6yearold boy. The children were put in huntsmans custody after their mother died in a car crash. 17yearold gonzolokurial cannot be sentenced to death because he was 16 when the leaked murders happen.
