Witnesses also tell us that a person also fled on foot. Two people ended up dying on the scene. A third person died at the hospital. The deceased victims were two males and one female. A fourth person a male victim is now in Critical Condition at the hospital. Police say all the dead and injured are young adults possibly juveniles. Witnesses say the damage to the car was severe. Car was split in half. The frame was bent. It looked like he was airborne. And the car split down the middle. It was bad. Reporter police are still looking for the second vehicle. Were live in downtown san jose, kiet do, kpix 5. A Court Appearance is set this morning for two men and a woman suspected of murders in San Francisco and marin county. Kpix 5s anne makovec reports. Reporter they are set to face a judge in morning. This morning they are waking up in jail. The three were extradited from oregon earlier this week where investigators say they were driving the car of one of the victims full of the possessions of the other. And they have identified the suspect whom they believe did pull the trigger. He is Morrison Lampley, the man seen in the middle. He is accused of using a stolen gun to shoot audrey carey in San Franciscos Golden Gate Park and steve carter on a hiking trail near fairfax. Lampley has the most serious criminal past of the three including drugs and weapons charges. The suspects hung out in the haight neighborhood. Police call them drifters. Last night there was a Community Meeting to talk about the growing problems of danger just transients in the area. The growing problem of dangerous transients in the area. The people who have lived here for 20 and 30 years who have tolerated a lot and are frustrated by whats happening in this neighborhood reporter statistics show more and more crime in that haight neighborhood. Last year there were 56 robberies, total this year already 78. San Francisco Police say they are adding more foot patrols in the area and in the meantime, the three people known as drifters will be facing the judge here in marin county at 9 a. M. That was at san bruno station. The train was evacuated station was closed until the coroner investigators removed the body. It caused delays for the evening commute. Less than two hours earlier, in san jose, a pedestrian was struck by a vta light rail train. That happened just south of the fruitvale station. The vta says the victim died as rescue crews tried to remove the individual from under the train. Investigators dont know why the person was on the tracks. Lets check the roads with gianna. Your full forecast is coming up. A man suspected in a series of crimes against cats is now formally charged. 24yearold Robert Farmer made his first Court Appearance in the case in san jose yesterday. Investigators believe he killed or harmed at least four animals in the citys Cambrian Park area. He was arraigned on charges that included animal cruelty. Farmer was arrested in a parking lot last week. Police say he was sleeping in a car with a dead cat inside. Investigators believe he is the man seen here grabbing a cat in the Surveillance Video. This was recorded about three weeks ago. They are trying to determine if more cats may have been victimized. California will not go ahead with a plan that would have allowed some inmates with violent histories to fight wildfires in the state. Public safety concerns were raised by critics including unions that represent professional firefighters. The state still plans to include certain nonviolent inmates though. Reporter this video captures the end of a three hour odyssey inside the store. Police say store Surveillance Video captured man inside as early as 10 a. M. Likely pouring lighter fluid around the store before igniting costumes in the halloween aisle. Security officers inside the store sauce a suspicious man and saw a suspicious man pushing a shopping cart. They saw a container in the cart that was leaking liquid. Reporter authorities received multiple 911 calls from inside the store and the Fire Department pulled some of the burned costumes outside of the store as part of their investigation. This interior video was captured by shopper paul miller, who told us by phone he was just in the store shopping for his children when he saw the flames suddenly erupt and a man standing nearby. He shot just a few seconds of video of the flames before running outside. Another shopper was inside the store earlier and shuddered at the thought of what could have happened. Its kind of scary though. Reporter police say the accelerant used was lighter fluid and that the man actually took it from the garden section inside the store.
