A vallejo man was arrested after a short pursuit ended in a crash. Authorities say 64yearold robert craig pulled a gun on walmart employees as he stole a tv around 4 30 this morning. He led police on a chase into a mobile home park. It ended, police say, when craig crashed into a police car following him. Craig was taken to jail on charges of robbery, evading police and resisting arrest. Another gun buyback this time in Solano County nets more than 300 firearms including a rocket launcher. Officials at the Solano County fairgrounds say 30,000 worth of gift cards were given away. People turning in handguns, shotguns and rifles in working condition got 100 in cash or gift cards. People with assault rifles got 200. A spokesman for the Vallejo Police says they will make sure the collected weapons will not get back on the street. As soon as we seat weapons, we make sure theyre not stolen. If theyre not stolen, we take them back and if we can destroy them on scene. We have armorers here who will disable the weapons so they will never be used again. The event was scheduled to start at 10 a. M. And Vallejo Police said they started showing up as early as 7 a. M. A family mishap off the coast of Southern California killed one and led to the rescue of five others. After paying 500 for ten tickets they realized they had been had. They were fake. The tickets looked like printed out tickets. They looked legit when you look at them. When you start noticing the bar codes, every one had the same bar code. Reporter they tried to reach the seller but she never answered. Then they came up with a plan to have a friend buy the tickets and record the exchange. Call the cops. Reporter they took the video and fake tickets to the Glendale Police department. Members of the Financial Crimes Division also found her on craigslist posed as disney ticket buyers and arrested her. She was in possession of more fake disneyland tickets. She was currently still on craigslist. She was using the same phone number but different city this time. Now the hollywood area. Still selling the tickets for 50. Reporter detectives found hundreds of Text Messages from victims dating back two years. She kept like a ledger sheet type thing on all her transactions and who she was selling to.
