A firefighter who was there that night rang a bell 36 times for each life lost. The chief said their hearts are heavy as well and they stand with the community in mournful solidarity. They said a prayer for the 36 and then held a moment of silence. Heavenly father, were gathered here grieving, farther, the lives of 36 that are lost here. God, we know you are a loving father and you knew them intimately and personally and you loved them. Just like you love us here on this block as well. Reporter during that ceremony, we saw First Responders hugging each other and heard them stifling back tears. Thats what we saw here in the community as well as people dropped off candles, flowers and notes. Prominent bay area attorney is getting involved in the fall out from the warehouse fire. John burris is asking to meet with city leaders. A representative from his office says they have met with artists who are concerned about the possibility of being evicted from similar situations.
