And they have no idea why anyone would want to kill him. And if sheriffs deputies know, theyre not saying tonight. It was the last thing friends and family of Kurt Kimberly wanted to hear but the Sonoma County Sheriffs Department broke the news to them that this body is his. He was a standup guy, nice, and just devastating that this happened to him. Reporter the 18yearold went miss it would go weeks ago. His family missing two weeks ago. His family said he left home on his bike and was never seen again. They have been putting up flyers and posted all over facebook, his mom even going to his Old High School looking for answers. But now answers are still few and far between. The coroner knows the cause of death. Thats a detail that we didnt want the general public to know because it will hamper the investigation. Reporter but they do say it was murder. His body was found about 5 miles away from his home on the campus of sonoma state. While deputies havent named a suspect, they do say this wasnt random. And they are back out at the crime scene today looking for evidence to prove it. Right now were retracing his final steps. We are going through his life the last couple of days that he was alive and talking to friends, family, people he hangs out with and figuring out the issues in his life and who he might have been visiting with.
