Alameda countys legal office identified them as Luis Santamaria and paul weiber. This Surveillance Video shows them chasing Stanislaus Petrov into an alley and beating him with their batons. Petrov had several broken bones. Right before this, he led deputies on a car chase that started in san leandro. The two deputies are on paid leave. Two suspects in a quadruple shooting outside a club in san leandro are not face hate crime charges for now. Carlos cervantes and salvador Lopez Aguilera are accused of shooting four people in the parking lot of club caliente. It happened monday morning. The victims are expected to recover. Investigators say the suspects did make comments about the victims sexual orientation. Court documents filed in Alameda County yesterday though do not include hate crime charges. They could potentially be added later. A Bay Area Community group is criticizing the decision to grant bail to a richmond man who allegedly plotted to attack muslims. The San Francisco chapter of the council on americanislamic relations says it is shocked at the release of williams sellly. He is accused of lettering to kill muslims and building threatening to kill muslims and building a pipe bomb. They want federal charges and increased security at mosques. Pleasant hill police are looking for a robber who held you want a mcdonalds after climbing through a driveup window. It happened wednesday morning on contra costa boulevard north of gregory lane. Police say the man pulled out a gun right after making his bizarre entry. He escaped on foot heading towards best drive. Nobody was hurt. Police are looking for the man who stabbed a woman inside a San Francisco church. It happened on wednesday night in st. Charles on south van ness avenue. The woman says a man asked her for a key to the bathroom and she didnt have it. Then she felt a sharp pain from behind. The suspect thought to be homeless ran off. The woman is expected to be okay. Public Health Officials say california is experiencing a rise in norovirus cases. The story has me pretty worried. There have been 32 confirmed cases since the beginning of october highly contagious virus that can spread very quickly in crowded environments. Health experts recommend being very careful handling food as well as frequent and thorough handwashing. Governor brown continues a Christmas Eve tradition pardoning 91 former criminals. And you know one of them. The big name on the list, actor robert down any, jr. He has a long history of drug problems and served prison time in the 90s. Governor brown said over the past 20 years he lived an honest life. The governor also pardoned 18 people who committed crimes in the bay area. They include Richard Ellsworth baker. In 1991, he was convicted in Santa Clara County for perjury and possession of a fraudulent id. He got the fake id so he could work at a nightclub while under age. There was damage elsewhere in the area but no reports of serious injuries. Experts from the National Weather service will be there today to see just what happened. And the Weather Service also trying to confirm that a tornado did touch down in the central valley. Powerful winds yesterday caused some damage and knocked out power in modesto. Authorities say a large tree fell on power lines causing a domino effect that toppled at least 11 power poles. One of them crashed through the roof of a business.
