The sheriff said this teen was in a dangerous state of mind and threatening officers and when less lethal methods didnt work, one deputy had to open fire. Put the knife down, buddy. Luke was within about 5 feet of the handler and the handler felt very vulnerable and has indicated that he thought he was about to get stabbed.
