>>yes craig allen was just a -- says she was a typical girlfriend for to the police she was a woman on a crime spree. >> it does resemble her yes. >> do you think she would do something like this? >> no. no. >> reporter: he says he can't say for sure that it's the woman he has dated for six months but he also can't say it is not her. >> i've seen her wear those big glasses. >> reporter: they released these photos on wednesday soon after she was accused of robbing three banks in 24 hours. they feared she would strike again. >> she said in her note that she is armed. >> reporter: but the robber never get another chance. in the video you will see only on 5, the suspect yvonne rowland, just 22, was walked into the police department this afternoon in cuffs. craig says she was arrested right in front of him. >> i didn't know anything. all of a sudden she is being taken away in a cop car, guns drawn. >> he says she never gave him a clue she was wanted as the suspect anyone woman crime spree. >> did she all of a sudden have a lot of money lately? >> no. no. i don't know whether to believe it or dispirited. >> reporter: and we knocked on the suspect store but her family refused to talk. kpix 5. three people under arrest accused of operating an elaborate drug ring in the middle of the security line. prosecutors say they would rain for passengers for -- arrange for passengers to be screened -- unfortunately for them some of the passengers were undercover dea agents. all three face felony conspiracy charges. >> it's official, the dungeness crab season delayed indefinitely. allen has been digging into the numbers, what's the bottom line here? tonight they show us the big message that shoppers heading to emeryville now see. kriston? >> reporter: yes veronica tonight you can see it for yourself. lights and an electric traffic sign flashing a serious warning to shoppers. we found out a lot of people are not paying attention. sylvia harper loves to shop. a savvy shopaholic who knows during the holiday shopping season, criminals like to case cars. >> they can't even take change. >> reporter: this emeryville stripmall has seen its share of break-ins. the window of one of our trucks was posted here several weeks ago. now a friendly reminder is posted here warning shoppers not to leave valuables in your vehicle. unfortunately, some shoppers aren't listening. it only took us a couple of minutes of looking around the parking lot to find out some people left their values -- valuables in plain view. the person sat there for about 30 minutes before the owner came out. >> i was hoping if it was on the floor, nobody would notice it. >> thanks for reminding me that i shouldn't leave it in my car. there this family of polish tourists left their rental car here loaded with luggage. >> you guys got some valuables and there. >> i didn't know because i'm not from here. >> reporter: exactly the kind of opportunity some look for. >> you know the covering the back of the car -- cover it up so they can't see anything. >> reporter: this lot has security guards who regularly make the rounds but some shoppers told me they really hope during the season they will be stepping up those patrols. reporting live, kristin ayres, kpix 5. will you can't say you weren't warned, a major thoroughfare in and out of san francisco in a big -- and a big crosstown thoroughfare is closed. the intersection of fourth and king streets near at&t park -- it's not just close tonight, it will stay closed for the next eight night. kate is there to show us what's going on. this intersection closed about an hour ago, and workers did not waste any time. take a look, they are already cutting into the road over here, getting ready for the central subway system. let me tell you, this intersection is a pivotal one here in san francisco. it will be shut down for eight days. so drivers -- brace yourselves. >> reporter: and intersection shutdown at 4th and king and a week's worth of traffic delays for commuters. this intersection is a commuter hub linking union, caltrain and 280. all to get ready for the subway central system that will run along 4th street to chinatown. >> it will be one of the highest ridership lines of the system. >> reporter: they are connecting the existing t rail line to future subways. they say there will be do -- detours and bus bridges, and a lot of traffic. >> walking or riding a bike is your best option to get around this area. >> reporter: and if not, avoid this area. they say they pick this week on purpose, nor giants games and the three-day weekend. it's also great before any major holiday events, meaning there are fewer cars on the road. right now we are seeing very little traffic as a result of the closure but really i think monday will be the real test. reporting live in san francisco, kpix 5 . a vigil for the four student stabbed on wednesday. classes resumed today after 18- year-old freshman faisel mohammed went on a rampage with a hunting knife. he was from santa clara and was shot and killed by police. he graduated from wilcox high school. they say he wanted revenge after fellow students kicked him out of a study group. and we saw another community come together, this one in middletown. it's been a month and a half since the wildfire tour through the town -- tour through the town. homecoming was delayed because of the fire. it took on a new meaning. it was an opportunity to say thank you for firefighters for their brains of -- to firefighters for their bravery. >> i feel like it means more to us this year because we still have it all. everything that this means, this wasn't taken away from us too. i don't know how to explain it -- it's just like, so much more spirited. >> the valley fire that ripped through the county killed four people and destroyed more than 1200 homes. campaign 2016, a lot of people asking tonight, did ben carson makeup parts of his life story? documents we obtained from april inspection provide a clue. he says the inspection by federal regulators by theranos reveals widely available commercial machines, many of the same in use here at cff. >> there's nothing new here. they are using at least in this, they are using traditional analyzers. >> so why are the lab tests so much cheaper here if they are using the same machines as other commercial labs?
