But soon realized they stole Something Else far more precious to him and hard tore replace. I never thought someone could steal my running leg. Reporter ranjit is an amputee and a paralympian who competes in track and field. The thieves stole his 25,000 prosthetic league. The leg is custom knead for each individual. What was stolen from ranjit allows him to run on the track. Reporter ranjit hopes to compete in the paraolympics in rio in 2016, but this is proving to be a major hurdle. Hard to believe, but San Francisco police have another prosthetic leg mystery they are trying to solve tonight. A leg with a brown shoe attached was found near Market Street near the tenderloin.
