pilot if they were to collide. >> martinez police did find the man with the drone, but he was not arrested or cited. it is possible he could face federal charges in the incident. two people are dead after a small jet crashed in san bernardino can. it happened at apple -- county. it happened at apple valley airport 90 miles east of los angeles. the plane went down shortly after departure at 2:00. it caught fire after the crash halting airport traffic. officials say the two people who died in the crash were the only ones on board. and disturbing video from a football celebration this weekend, did not detect the disease. you'll remember carter was diagnosed in august with metastatic melanoma that began in the liver and spread to the brain. carter use an innovative treatment involving after rain this week. we've got rain thursday. plenty of cloud tonight will give way to increasing sunshine tomorrow and on tuesday begin to cloud it up by wednesday. so for tomorrow a high pressure rebound, things dry up. high pressure can only put a cap on the moisture -- can often put a cap on the moisture we generated with the showers. dense fog tonight and tomorrow morning it would not be a surprise heading out 5 or 99 there will be fog out there as well. by thursday low pressure begins to push that stream south. so we'll get 3/4-inch to 1 1/2 inches of rain by friday. the bulk of the rain comes in on thursday, first in the north bay. everybody gets it on thursday, lingering showers on friday and the sum total no more than 1 1/2 inch. at the same time that low pressure that has been sitting and spinning offshore will produce exceptionally high surf through tuesday, sneaker waves likely along the shoreline, really a pretty significant high surf warning posted all along the bay area coast line. so fewer out by the shore, have a care. it's going to be bad the next 48 hours. futurecast shows things clearing up nicely. we'll freeze this at about sunrise tomorrow, wake up to a mostly overcast day of, but the south bae will come out -- day, but the south bay will come out with plenty of sunshine later and midday sketchy high clouds. looking toward the bay bridge, clears and warms a bit, a little light rain for the north bay by wednesday and then rain and wind for everybody on thursday. a few lingering showers on friday and that's what's reflected in the extended forecast. tomorrow we'll see numbers mostly in the mid-60s. tuesday is nice. wednesday light rain north bay. thursday rain for everybody. friday a lingering shower or two. by next weekend we're back
