7:19 pm something went wrong with the plane and it caught fire. all five people aboard the plane had to jump for safety and they all parachuted to the ground. we are told the empty plane crashed into gilbert home off of rain road -- railroad. a man and woman were inside at the time and amazingly they were not hurt. they were able to get out of the home before the fire engulfed it.>> the plane was inside of the living room.>>reporter: the two people were unharmed and they are very lucky. we are told the pilot of the plane did suffer some burn injuries and he is being treated at the hospital. we are also told the ntsb will be looking into what caused the investigating. witnesses are saying with the empty plane, coming to the ground it's a miracle there was no loss of life. firefighters have put out the fire. the home is a total loss. mark taylor, cbs5 news. >> we want to give you a better idea of where this is happening. constitution there is being held at the junior high school their gilbert and elliott. the home the plane hit is ne fire crews are working to make sure the fire is out. you can see they are there in the middle of the screen and to the left. they are making sure the flames do not reignite and the people in the neighborhood are safe. we flew over in pain when air flying on a saturday night and unbelievable story. an airplane crashes into a home without a pilot, the pilot had to bail out due to the plane being on fire. the pilot survived, the people in the home were able to get out safely and the four parachutists are safe as well. gilbert, the home is destroyed as is the home. it is hard to see any parts of the airplane, it appears to be in the back of the home and the yard. the gilbert fire department did a great job, before it could spread to any other homes in the neighborhood. a lot of people were home with saturday night.>> a ton of videos from social media are pouring in. sarah was celebrating a friends wedding and they heard a pop, they
