But a nice amount coming from the the equivalent of four inches of water fell since friday. The crest typically picks up much more water that we do on the east side of the lake, so the fact that mt. Rose actually got 4 inches of precip over the weekend, four inches of water over the weekend, it is really good news. Ask any skier and theyll tell you this recent storm brought perfect snow condition. Ask any hydrologist theyll tell you four inches of water is a big deal. This was a great storm for the region and we need about a half dozen more of these to put us in pretty good shaping going into the spring. Tmwa hydrologist bill hauck says the recent storm.
