The worker was killed at a Grocery Store and less than an hour ago, police found the truck. Reporter investigators are on the scene here, and oakhand Police Officers spotted that suspect vehicle after a bulletin was sent out to other Police Departments with still images taken from surveillance video. Some wooden palettes were spotted in the bed of the truck. Now, the driver has been detained and some coworkers say the man was trying to protect the business when he was killed. Police say an employee of through world foods may have been kill forward trying to stop a crime. Witnesses told investigators a man in a truck purposely ran down their coworker who confronted for stealing a stack of wooden palettes. There is a possibility of driver may have illegally run that person over this morning. Reporter sky 7 showed police gathered in the back parking lot. Who knows . A possible motive for an ambush in Vallejo Police call an attempted aassassination of their officers. The gunman in this case is in Critical Condition but officers who tried to shoot are both unharmed because his gun jammed. The attempted crime happened at a starbucks in vallejo. Laura anthony joins us with the details. Reporter police say the attempted ambush of the officers here was premeditated and but for a jammed gun, could very well have been deadly. Actions indicate the officers are particularly targeted. It happened in seconds says two Police Officers taking a break at the starbucks and a man walked in with a rifle. Both officers describe the suspect manipulating the weapon, as if trying to clear the action of the weapon. It was levelled at them when he was doing this. Investigators say powell ran away from the gas station. The officers caught up with him. Powell was shot three times. He was wearing body armor and his assault weapon affixed with a barreltype magazine holding 70 rounds of highpowered ammunition. Reporter the suspect is a father of 2yearold adonis powell. The toddler was shot accidentally in this home in sassoon city. Police and family members say adam powell was there when the boy was shot but took off mr. Police arrived. Initial indications that it seems to be an accidental shooting that occurred within sassoon city. He is in stable condition. Hes doing really good.
