The very next day vinson got on a Frontier Airlines flight with 132 other Airline Passengers and flying home to dallas. The cdc tonight is trying to track down the travellers. Yesterday, troubling news, vinson developing a fever, driving herself to the texas presbyterian hospital, within 90 minutes she was in isolation. Reporter tonight, those 75 Health Care Workers who treated duncan still being monitored. The dallas mayor warning more ebola cases could emerge. Reporter high anxiety from some of the doctors and nurses and a pressing release of the records, he was in the hospital two days before people treating him wore hazmat suits. Nurses complained it took several hours to put duncan in isolation, and that potentially infectious waste was piling up. The hospital vowing to respond to the concerns. As for the Frontier Airlines plane that vinson traveled on, frontier says it decontaminated the plane, but there were five more flights before vinson was diagnosed with ebola. Today, the director of the cdc says he directed them to send teams to any hospital with a patient. He tempered the need for reassurance. I want people to understand the dangers of you contracting ebola and a serious outbreak are extraordinarily low. But we are taking this very seriously at the highest levels of government. President obama also contacted several World Leaders to coordinate efforts and increase resources being sent to west africa, the epicenter of this outbreak. But the kaiser nurses are asking for full body hazmat suits. Proper resperators, and they are following their lead. Many are reaching out to the president. For the president to invoke his executive authority to mandate uniform National Standards and protocols that all hospitals must follow to provide safety for our patients, Health Care Workers and the public. The chopper performed the first series of takeoffs and landings. When it landed on top of the mission bay building, the pediatric staff unloaded a doll, dressed up like a critically ill newborn. In real life, a pediatric nurse will travel in the helicopter treating the child or pregnant mother as soon as they leave to referring hospital. And when ucfs gets the call, the chopper will be able to take off from the base in 15 minutes. Time is really of the essence when referring the hospital calls and needs to have our services.
