>> reporter: morgan shows us the pellet holes lodged in the side of his bar, la oficina. on march 25th 2, bar was sprayed with bbs from a passing car. >> he got shot in his hand.t. so the bb gun went two inside. >> reporter: the man went to the hospital. several hours later, another drive-by. a man was shot in the forehead leaving a meeting at this methodist church on bancroft avenue. he was not seriously hurt, but the pastor is very concerned. >> we want this to continue to be a safe place, not just within the walls, but also when people leave. >> reporter: later the same night, a woman was shot in the hand at an ac transit bus stop. san leandro police believe the same bb gun wielding sandals are to blame. since december, they have damaged at least 125 cars and shot out several storefront windows downtown. one of the suspects was even caught on surveillance video. the shootings are now more braise accident. >> now they're getting increasingly violent, starting to shoot people for no reason whatsoever. >> reporter: the suspects have been seen driving this silver toyota forerun were a unique black fuel cover. >> we are deploying undercover officers a couple of nights a week in undercover car, hoping to find this car driving around san leandro. >> you or i could be the next victims. >> reporter: neighbors are plenty worried. pam hollison is always aware of her surroundings. >> have some fear. it will keep you safe. >> reporter: police hoping a tip from the public will help catch the bb gun vandals. cornell barnard, abc 7 news. >> the man seen on video being beaten by alameda county sheriff's deputies is expected to appear in federal court tomorrow to face new charges. stanislaus petroff will be making his first appearance. search warrants and complaints against him are expected to be unveiled. he was arrested at a home on friday in the visitation valley neighborhood. someone had been shot at the home earlier in the day. it's not clear why petroff was arrested but police say it is not related to the shooting. police are talking to this woman. she and her 17-month-old daughter were found safe yesterday. renta is the ex-girlfriend of petroff. petroff is a suspect in a domestic violence case involving renta. a drug overdose problem blamed for nine deaths in the sacramento area has reached the bay area. both redwood city fire and central county fire on the peninsula said on twitter they have responded to overdoses involving the drug fentanyl. in the case, the people did not die. investigators say it appears people believe they are buying norco tablets on the street. that's a mild painkiller. but instead the tablets are packed with fentanyl which is up to 100 times more potent than morphine. the problem has been especially bad in the sacramento area where paramedics have responded to three dozen overdoses and nine deaths in a week. our sister station in sacramento spoke with the sister of one of the victims today. >> well, the fake norcos to relieve some pain. i hope it didn't. but she didn't take that knowing that she was never going to wake up again. >> on friday, federal authorities issued a public safety alert about the drug. last fall several deaths in the bay area and santa cruz county were linked to fentanyl masked to look like xanax. regular bart service will not return tomorrow in the east bay. for the last two weeks riders have been taking a bus bridge between the north concord and pittsburg pay point station. bart has a team of engineers tasked with what is causing a electrical problem that has been damaging trains. the new team will be focused on the train cars themselves as a possible source of the problem. bart has been running test trains between the two stations all weekend, but the problem persist. so tomorrow bart will operate two shuttle trains between the two stations every ten minutes. if you ride caltrain to work, you'll need to check the schedule before heading out the door tomorrow. the number of trains have major or minor departure times. the adjustments are made because of the jump in the number of riders during peak hours. many of the trains will make longer stops at each station. an additional bike car is being added to the train. we have a full list of the schedule changes for you at abc7news.com. former president bill clinton and daughter chelsea took part in a day of community service in oakland today. abc news was at the havens court lockwood campuses as the counties joined students in sprucing up the campus that is home to five schools. volunteers planted trees and painted murals outside. today's event was hosted by the clinton global academy, oakland unified school district and oakland public education fund. the road to the white house winds through wisconsin this week. poll shows a very tight race on the democratic side. for donald trump, primary comes after a week of missteps and misstatements. abc news reporter kendis gibson has more. >> i'll bernie sanders is running neck and neck with hillary clinton in the badger state. clinton telling abc's george stephanopoulos in an interview for "good morning america" that she would debate sanders on gma. >> i'll be there. i think it's a great opportunity to reach an audience that may not always be able because of other obligations to tune in to debate. >> reporter: sanders will only say that he wants to debate before the big new york primary april 19th. >> people of new york deserve to hear us discussing the important issues facing that state and facing the country. i suspect it will work out. >> reporter: sanders and cruz hoping that by winning on tuesday, they can carry their campaign to the convention this center. kendis gibson, abc news, new york. highway patrol officers had their hands full this morning after a chase on the bay bridge. some type of chase you're thinking. check this out. the conserve tweeted high pursuit of dog. all taken into custody. an officer captured the entire incident around 7:00 a.m. video from the chp shows a motorcycle officer following the dog in the far right lane. then it ran in the middle of the five-lane bridge. officers say it was headed into san francisco. say it wasn't easy to catch the little guy. >> we attempted to take him into custody. but it took a while. he was fat. he was rung. we set up several roadblocks, but he just ran right around us. eventually we were able to corral him, box him in. >> here is the dog with the officer who caught him. now the search is on for the owner. the chihuahua is being held at the san francisco animal care. officer says it's a good reminder for owners who register their animals put a tag or microchip on them so it's easy to locate the owner. still ahead on abc 7 news at 9:00, is temperature of 56 degrees. so tonight we'll have the cloud along the coast right now. they'll push their way inland. so we'll call it partly cloudy in concord, 50 degrees. 51 in downtown san francisco overnight. 50 san jose. the same in oakland and napa, dropping to 47. live hd, you see a ribbon of cloud cover right off the coast. this is a weak moving cold front. unfortunately, all of the rain is going to stay well north of the bay area. what it will do for us tomorrow, the morning clouds will also keep our temperatures in check to spring-like levels. your 12-hour day planner on your monday first thing tomorrow morning will have the morning clouds. but by the second half of the morning and lunch time, the clouds are completely eroded way. it's total sunshine in the afternoon that will early morning cloud cover. but it quickly clears per lots of sunshine midday and into the afternoon. it's spring-like. warm and sunny on tuesday. hot on wednesday. more warmth on thursday. and then
