to snuff. the mayor says what happened last night has nothing to do with communications, it has to do with officer training. take a look where it ended last night, a high-speed chase crashing at 85th street. police were after drive-by shooting suspect and it ended there, a officer shooting and p killing a suspect. one officer was on his way getting his squad car's computer fixed. dispatch did not go through, the system was not functioning according to the police officer association. police could not get a call for an ambulance. another agency had to do that. the mayor sails she had her tech crews on the system all last night into this morning and the police union president says it's too much of a bad system. the mayor says she's told it's too little training. >> it's too dangerous for officers to work under the environment they're in. at some point we may have to take legal action against the city regarding our safety on the street. if we can't protect ourselves, how are we going to protect the public?
