four-alarm fire in gilbert last night. condos under construction and the spewing flames hard to miss last night. we saw all your photos, all your videos. those strong images. this thing so bad the even an issue overnight. we are joined live tonight. people returning to that area because it was too dangerous last night. >> reporter: that's exactly right. it was the carbon monoxide in the area that made it not safe for them to be here. police are on scene at these condos providing security for the people who live here. for these people returning, greet them when they went inside their front doors. the fear as rampant at the raging fire. >> they're getting closer. it was like wow, it is. >> reporter: she saw the flames while on her way back from dinner last night. >> they were huge. you could feel the heat. >> reporter: she was finally able to make it into the condo where her mother lives to see if the flames crept their way. >> the back ends of cars are melted. >> frame from the moments firefighters went to each home looking for people still in the path of the flame. >> if i look out to the side, i can see it. >> reporter: april saying she's been watching those five additional condos being built. >> this is the final phase of the condo community, so we're getting a lot of traffic through here. >> reporter: construction crews will have to start over, but these residents thankful they won't have to. and they're also really who sparked this. that's exactly what gilbert fire is trying to investigate right now. they don't have leads on what sparked it. they can't say it's suspicious, but they are looking into it on scene right now. >> hopefully we get to the bottom of this very soon. a guy shot and killed at barrington's bar last night. there has been an arrest. a 26-year-old, apparently there was a physical fight, and then it turned to gunfire. a driver slams into a 61-year- the side of the road. the victim is christine hamblin. the driver would have been in the area of 39th avenue driving a silver chevy impala, possibly an 08 model. the car most likely has damage to the left front headlight and the front fender. women involved in a fire go scattering, and they're found blocks away from the flames. issues, the other thankful to be alive. the woman who lives inside says she heard a loud pop. the fire was everywhere. three other homes were damaged by all that smoke. we're hoping to learn more about the chandler man and woman killed in this awful wreck out of san diego. a pickup flew off the coronado bridge ramp falling 60 feet into a crowd of people in the park. four people died. the other two lived in california. the driver, police say, was drunk at the time on the campaign trail, trump pointing the finger saying the system is thunderstorms across the valley or state today. not expecting that to change. as you look on the futurecast, the broader perspective. ridge of high pressure out to the east keeps things cool here. as we go through the several hours, by tuesday we'll be looking for clear conditions as another ridge of high pressure begins to build in over the state. things will be quiet, and they're going to be dry across arizona and the valley as we go through most of the week. we do have wind advisories in effect including the north west pocket of mojave pocket. 40-50 miles an hour. they will get stronger as we go through the next several hours before they begin to calm tomorrow. no big changes with the winds here. the valley may have a couple of breezes between 10-15 miles an hour. 43 in flagstaff. 44 at the grand canyon. 40s along the rim. 68 for an overnight low in phoenix. back up to 92 tomorrow. upper 80s casa grande. 77 in page. window rock going to a quick look at the valley forecast tonight. going to be a nice one as you head out the door monday morning. back up in the upper 80s to low 90s tomorrow. very similar temperatures as what we had out there today. topping out at 92. average high
